We have PSN cards sellers here sold at a very cheap price, so cheap I initially thought it was a scam. But the regulars here has vouched for them. 50$ for 1800php. Just check the Bazaar and see the confirmation post from buyers. You can use the PSN card to subscribe to PS+.
1. Region units and games tend to almost always have the different button configuration. For example: R1's accept/confirm button is X, Cancel is O. For R3, it's the other way around. It gets confusing if you have an R3 unit and R1 game. If you prefer only R1 games like me and if you can't find an R1 game locally, there's a merchant on Facebook named Pax-Corp Games that sells and orders R1 games for you. You can even buy an R1 units for him. The regulars here can verify that he's a legit seller.
You can check what region your game is by:
A. The ratings system. On the lower left of the CD cover, if it says ESRB then a letter like M (for Mature), it's an R1 game. If it has asian writings on it then it's R3. I don't know for R2.
B. Region Icon. On the side of the game case (Or at the back of the case), just below the title of the game, there's an icon that looks like a box with a quarter of a globe in it then a number (or it says ALL), that number specify what region it is. If it says ALL, then it means its for all regions (Usually, ALL is configured similar to an R1.)
C. Region Code. On the side of game case, below the Region Icon, the last row is a code you can use to determine the Region. For PS4: CUSA of R1, PLAS is Region 3. (it differs on PSV and PS3)
2. I live in New York in my PSN. Only have one account though but let's see in a few years if I'll need it. I have avoided Multiplayer games/functions of games. I don't like children not yet or in puberty calling me noob or gay.
3. Being not a fan of Multiplayer, can't say I had that concern. hehehe
4. You can alson join the the Pinoy Playstation community on your PS4, I sometimes see people there wanting to be added and looking for coop partners.
I did finally buy a PS3 this December just to play the Arkham Franchise (so I could play Arkham Knight if it ever gets the edition with all the DLC) and Mass Effect Trilogy (in preparation for Andromeda.) You might also want to consider that. *wink*
I'm a R1 purist, for the specific reason that I like to press X to confirm. Everyone has their quirks, Don't Judge me.when you buy cd-based game, do you usually ask for a specific Region? or region-specific doesn't matter to you?
