They're legit and service is great. Listen Up! in Glorietta is owned by the same guys as The Listening Room, same prices stocks etc.hapibanana21 wrote:Mga okay ba ang price sa "The Listening Room"? Sure ba na original ang benta nila? Hindi kasi ako masyadong makahanap ng info sa store na to bukod dun sa Facebook page nila.

Technically speaking, if your source (phone/pc/dap) can drive it properly then you don't "need" one. Most players/phones have an output of around 70 something ohms. Which is enough to drive most earbuds. So to find out google your earbuds and check for the impedance.RickJames wrote:mga sir, kelangan pa ba ng amp para sa earbuds(SoundMagic ES18) or useless na din???
Some people though still choose to use an amp even though its not needed per-se, this is just because of preference. So to as with all audiophile related stuff.. trust your own ears try to audition some amps and see if you can actually hear a difference, if you can and you like it then you need/want one

The PX100-II is pretty durable I bought my dad one almost a year ago and its still kicking. Watch out for the pads though on the white units, I've seen them turn yellow after some years.jay_valenzuela wrote:whoah!! pwede ah! egghead yung sa galleria diba? i love that place pwede magtest ng headphones hahaha okay i will try that! ohh foldable... wala naman siya tendency na mabali or something?alexandre042795 wrote:^Sennheiser PX100-2 ,,,,,,,,,2.6k siya sa egghead at listening room......sulit na sulit...foldable pa parang eye glasses

Ah yes Egghead I like that store (even though I've only been there once). Congrats on your purchase sir and +1 for trusting your own ears. As we say "trust only your own ears". Just a quick question did you find the Px-100 II a bit.. "boring" sounding? kaya you didn't like it as much?jay_valenzuela wrote:just bought my new headphones! i compared the sennheiser PX100-II and House of marley positive vibration and nauwi ako sa marley. mas maganda ang feel and sound quality niya for me super sulit! I've auditioned a pair of these for about 30 mins and I wasn't too impressed with it. The bass was a bit too much for me, but it may be exactly what you want from it. Give it a listen for yourself, if you're listening to techno, hiphop, house, etc I think it'll be okay but for acoustic, rock, jazz etc. I wouldn't recommend it.hs1var19 wrote:Hello po! As a student, shempre I'm putting a leash on my wallet. I don't want to splurge to much on a pair of headphones. I'm thinking about getting the sony mdr zx300 are they decent enough? Thanks!
