Sana bukas maganda uli shooting ni Dondon. That was one of the most frustrating game I have ever watched, napaka onesided ng mga tawagan...goodluck sa Gilas bukas baka nasa 50+ fta ng China bukas

Sana matino laro ni Abueva bukas. Pati si Romeo maginit offense nya. Pero mukhang maluluto laban bukas. The only way to beat China eh maginit sa tres at fastbreak pati limit fouls and TO's at wag umasa kay Blatche.

Nagsalita na si Coach Tab..

I read somewhere in Rappler that the reason of the delayed start of the game is "security" due to huge demand of tickets.
I don't buy that crap by FIBA. They as organizers SHOULD have see it before so that they COULD have start the time of the 1st game MUCH earlier than the original schedule.

Heto pa isang reason daw "technical TV requirements"

Eh di nama nila ma-expound...
Lutong China na yan..

Mukhang ma ninegate si blatch mamaya.. if not by Yi.. then by the other 7 footers of China.. unless blatch shoots efficiently from the 3-point area.. wala din tayo pang bantay kay Yi sa PF position so baka si Blatche ba bumantay.. problem is yung 7' center ng China.. dapat talaga lahat gumawa mamaya offensively.. Thoss needs to make his mud range jumpers..

consistently making shots from mid range to outside plus speedy penetration attacking the paint will be the key in the offensive end
on defensive end, gotta hustle every defensive play. our team is undersized. ito na yata yung game for calvin para magpasabit sa ilalim getting china into penalty.

Ano average height ng China?

Apat ang 7 footers ng China. Tapos anim ang below 22 years old.

China is too smart for that.. and Calvin was exposed last night.. baka nga ibigay na lang sa kanya drivng lane then mag taas kamay lang mga big men ng China.. what Calvin needs to do is maka convert sa perimeter if his defender dares him to take a jump shot.. I think every screen for Castro may dalawang sasalubong.. they'll force him to pass the ball.. and malamang they will let Blatche take his shots from the 3 point area then walang kalaban sa defensive rebound ang China.. napansin ko din kagabi mahilig ang china sa corner 3s.. ang hirap bantayan ng ganun since mafoforce talaga bumukas ang loob for Yi and the other big guys.. para nanalo kailangan talaga tamaan tayo ng swerte and malasin naman ang China..

Amen to this. May tiwala din ako kay tab from day 1. Although the goal is one win away, laking acheivement ng run na to for gilas. To take down iran was a feat in itself, but this year would mean alot more if we can pull the rug underneath china. Kaya to basta focus lang and give ourselves a shot within striking distance to win the game.

Pls read MVP's official tweets. The home cooking now started. Delayed Electric Bus, Coaches "no tickets" daw at isama nyo yung delayed game kagabi na walang official statement from FIBA.

imo ok lang yung mabawasan oras for warm up pero ang epekto nito eh sa focus ng players.. baka masyado nila isipin na dadayain sila or pwedeng mainis sila.. I think China is engaging them into a psywar.. napansin ko lang din pati dun sa pang mamaliit ng coach ng China.. malamang napansin niya na naging emotional ibang players particularly si Calvin and baka magamit nila into their advantage.. pero imo di na nila need ng ganito eh.. if malinis na laban na sila liyamado.. siguro mga 99% sila mananalo.. pero sadista lang talaga sila and gusto nila makita ng Gilas tumalo sa sarili nila..
