i'm considering upgrading my asusk42j too (weird na mas malakas pa sya sa k43) ~_~
ano na bang marerecommend nyo aside from the msi gx660?

preferably core i7, 8 gig ram, class 1 video card with 2 gig ram, and around 40k din.
not that i dislike MSI, but would like to know if may options like that from asus/acer/ whatever.

Galing ako SM Annex GX660 40k cash. Down ka muna 2k tapos ff day mo pwede i pickup yung laptop.

Unang store na pinuntahan ko yung msi, ang offer nila 44.9k installment and 41k cash.

Tapos next naman yung PCQuarters(pc corner) Pinag antay ako 10mns para tanung sa main branch nila price ng gx660 akala nung sales lady 45k cash yung inoffer ng msi sakin kaya ginawa nila 44.5k cash then nung sinabi ko 41k lang binigay sakin pinag antay nanaman ako mga 20mns tapos nung wala pa umalis muna ako.

Sa Villman/ Vstore naman 40k cash ang GX660. following day lang pwede na pick item. 1 week replacement and 1 year parts and service warranty.

Yung may best offer PC Life 40k cash tapos add ka lang 2k gagawin na nila 2 years ang parts and service warranty nila. Imagine 2 years ka walang headache sa laptop mo ang catch lang 2-3 days mo pa makukuha yung laptop and parang mas pinu push nila ang Asus kinukulit ako na Asus nalang buy ko sabi nila mas malakas daw ang gt540m na gpu etc etc.

Nung binalikan ko yung PC Quarters 40.5k nalang daw ang cash. Sabi ko may mas murang offer ang Villman, 40k lang. Tatawagan nanaman daw sila sa branch nila paantay daw ulit.... nainis nako.

Kaya sa V-Store nalang ako nag order kasi mas maaga makukuha yung unit compare sa PC Life. Pero kung kaya niyo naman mag wait 2-3 days PC Life may best offer.

Best bang for buck kasi....

Yung iba kasi parang overprice sila pag nag comparison ka sa MSI. Tapos yung gaming laptops ng MSI ngayon were designed by pro gamers that joins tournaments, so yung features na sinasalpak sa laptop are really what for gamers wants.

Sir ayaw mo talaga GT683? Konti nalang kasi add mo mas maganda na specs laptop mo.

Pag yung 49k kinuha mo 2 ang freebie. 1 SteelSeriesSiberia Fullsize headset worth 5k and 1 steel series Kinzu optial mouse worth 2k.
BTW sa brochure ko lang nakuha prices nung mga freebies ah kaya hindi ko alam kung totoo yung price.

How much nga pala cash niyan? Yung older model kasi 40k lang cash tapos may free din na headset.

uninstalling programs you don't use anymore would still keep junk files in your
computer. (even with specialized software like ccleaner/ revo uninstaller)
also, defragmenting your hard drives is still no replacement for a full out format-reinstall.

performance wise, baka bumilis pa nga with new drivers / OS change (like switching from vista to 7)
battery-wise, yun lang magiging problema

di naman ayaw. gusto ko sana yung GT683 pafs pero kulang yung budget ko. hindi na din papayag si commander kung lalagpas pa ako sa 50K boundary. heheh. GT683 model ang kinuha mo?

3 days lang pag direct dun sa Ortigas, Mon - Sat naman sila 9am to 6pm yata. Mga symptoms nya na nasisira siguro nung September, 6 months din.

Nung una annoyance lang kasi ayaw magcharge pero pag hihigpitan ko gagana. Then one day ayun ayaw na lang magcharge nung laptop, yun nasira na talaga yung sa likod.

Nakuha ko na yung unit ko parang natatakot tuloy ako mag plug ng charger.

Daming umiilaw parang jeep.lol post ako pics later.

speaking of laptop charger, totoo ba na pwedeng masira ng charger yung laptop kapag mas mataas ang ampirs nya (sensya na kung wrong spelling )

go for the gt683, mas bago yung VC ng gt683, if im not mistaken, yung gtx560m ang vc nya..

Pag sa phone kasi hindi pa yung lowest price ang sinasabi. Like nung gx 660 na na buy ko. Nung sa landline ako nag inquire usually nasa 42-43k ang price(cash) pero nung pumunta na ako sa shop 40k nalang.

Hindi ko sure yung price ng gt683 kasi nung nalaman ko na 40k nalang gx660 dun nalang ako nag focus. Sa tipid pc ang text na price sakin nung PC_Corner para sa gt 683 49,995(cash) pero nung tumawag ako sa landline 51-52k yata?

Yung sa freebies naman baka hindi pwede i discount kasi sa may ortigas mo pa ma pi-pickup yung item.
