Kamusta ang gaming? Gusto ko rin sana ng TV na mababa ang input lag while some graphical settings are turned on. Usually kasi, pag sa gaming, you need to switch to Game mode, so you can play without lag.

The neat feature of the tv is that it detects when one of your inputs is a console and it sets it to game mode. So pagka plug ko ng ps4 automatically pumunta sa game mode without loss of iq.

In terms of input lag, its very good. Played bf1, nba 2k17, and am able to execute my moves without delay. Really good set for gaming.

I would go with the ku6000. Okay naman sa ansons or sights and sounds.

Here's some really good advice from ACG on going in on HDR 10 right now and HDR TVs in general (main message: WAIT!) -

But if you're like me and you can't - best to be very smart about it I am settling for a 'budget' option now, but for me, it doesn't make sense to go balls to the wall on a premium set right now as the standards will change and as it settles down. I basically got my budget 4k tv as an upgrade of around 10,000 pesos, so it's not bad, and it will last me maybe four years.

Thanks sa suggestion, pafs. Mukha naman ok ang specs ng Samsung 40ku6000. 4K and may HDR Premium daw sya (whatever that means). hehe
24K kasama na home delivery. Sa Makati pa daw yun Ansons at sa Fairview naman ako kaya ok na rin.
Pero suggestion ng seller/agent na bumisita ako sa store nila para daw ma-i-demo sa akin.

Sana matuloy ang deal namin ng buyer ko next, next Sunday para bilhin yun LG LCD TV ko. Napilitan na ako mag-baba pa ng presyo para maging pera at pandagdag sa pambili ng Samsung.

Yeah. Karamihan ng bagong TV models ngayon walang 3D feature.

Yung Sony TV ko ngayon, that I bought just last November 2015, has a 3D feature. Pero mukhang phased out na ng Sony yung active 3D glasses nila. Wala nako mabili. Hanggang ngayon hindi ko pa rin magamit yung 3D ng TV ko.

Tinitignan ko kasi ito LG ULTRA HD TV 40UF670T at wala ako mabasa HDR sa tech specs niya.

Yes not all 4k tvs have hdr, and even tvs that have hsr vary by what type of hdr they provide.

There's hdr10 which is what the ps4 pro supports. Then theres dolby vision.

Then within hdr10 standard there are uhd premium certified sets which adhere to the standard, then there are other hdr sets which fall short.

Ita currently a minefield out there, so it would help to do research.

Also some sets with hdr have high input lag when hdr is turned on. So take that din into consideration.

I'd recommend a 4K HDR TV that supports HDR10 mode (10 bit panel)

I also have plans to upgrade my setup, pero I still have some questions in mind:

1) Recommended ba mag-4k kahit na medyo maliit yung kwarto?

2) What's the ideal TV size kung hahabulin mo yung 4K?

3) Recommended budget 4KTVs?

4) Also, recommended HDR10 capable TVs on a budget (if such things exist na locally)?

1. Yes, of course bigger is better, and size of the room is consideration. So Ideally, you'd have a 50 inch TV if your viewing distance is around 5 feet or so. If you sit pretty close (2 feet or so) then a 40-43 inch TV will be suitable (given na maliit kwarto mo)

2. Ideally you'd go 55 inches if you want to really maximize 4k viewing (not scientific, this is just the 'consensus' from what I've read)

3. There are a couple of options, but I would recommend the Sony 43x8000d. Reviews: http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/sony/x800d

Few caveats, it has poor viewing angles, so you'd want to sit directly at the center. Even just a slight movement off angle, you'll see colors and contrast wash out a bit. HDR implementation is good enough, but it's not perfect or ideal for 'true HDR' experience. It just checks the bare minimum (10 bit panel, HDR 10, Wide color gamut) which is a plus.

Personally I've seen a few games in HDR, and although you can notice a difference (with sunlight, clouds, colors in particular) it's not necessarily revolutionary. It could be because the implementation of HDR on consoles is still in its infancy, but it also could be because the x8000d is a budget HDR set.

But I've seen demo content of HDR and it looks really good. So hopefully with more time, HDR implementation on the PS4 pro becomes better.

4. See answer above: I think if you're going on a budget, the x8000d is the best bet. It goes for around 31-32k right now (down from 43k a couple of months ago - so it's a pretty good deal).
