saang backoffice ka nag aapply? sa backoffice work kasi ang magandang sagot diyan focus, determination, keen to details. tapos sabihin mo magaling ka sa microsoft excel !!! haha

Ako din nirerecruit ng pinsan ko sa quezon city tapos pque/lp inuuwian ko. Mahina na 4 hours sa balikang byahe dagdag pa at least 9 hours na ini-spend sa office.

From QC to MoA ako. Average of 3 hours ang byahe balikan, worse kapag traffic. Actually mag 5 years na ko sa current company and before that 1 year sa previous na dun din sa same area, pero since this year ko lang napapansin yung pagod sa byahe, at hirap ng kulang sa tulog. Siguro tumatanda na haha.

Naaawa ako sa GF ko.. hindi naman siya yung nagtatake ng Calls... more on E-mail siya ngayon. More than 3 years na siya sa current company pero kahit may yearly increase eh syempre gusto rin nya ma-promote.. Para nakalagay sa Resume. CSR Level 3 yata position nya. Sabi nya sa akin pag BPO, mahirap ma-promote kasi sa company nila dapat may umalis galing sa higher position para ma-vacant.

So kung hindi kelangan i-promote at walang aalis from higher position, walang mapro-promote. Gusto nya lumipat ng QA pero dayshift pero same sweldo pero wala pang bakante. currently 4pm-12am ang shift nya.

Sadly kasi, sa ibang accounts, in order for a promotion to be justified, there needs to be a 1) a vacated position. 2) a growth in the account that requires someone to be promoted to that position or 3) a legit business need.

Not all folks get promoted kasi just because they deserve it... At least not in all companies. Minsan nga mga minor promotions pahirapan pa eh. (Junior team lead to team lead. Team lead to senior team lead, etc)

^kahit ako nawalan na rin ako ng gana umasa pagdating sa promotion, sa panahon ngayon pera pera na lang din talaga labanan.... basta nasusustentuhan ko mga financial obligations ko at syempre mga luho ko happy na ko

Ako walang double pay, extra bakasyon lang pag holiday. Sana magstart na open beta ng FFXIV dame holidays this month makakasulit sa laro!

Sa amin medyo ok ang promotions kasi maraming movement and expansions sa InfoTech Outsourcing. Our company has chosen its Philippine site to be the site of most of the Service Desk accounts kaya kahit ako na never ko naimagine magapply before for a higher position pinalad na mapromote twice (or maybe even 3). Marami na din ako teammates from before na mga naproote na din. I guess we're lucky too na part kami ng first wave of expansions and official launching of ITO in pur country kaya parang pioneer na din.

After 9 years, i am finally saying goodbye to this great but reprehensible Industry....

Yeah, i've been promoted 3 times. But IMHO, there is more to life than being chained to a desk all day....

Is it really about the salary?

Dealing with foreigners took its toll on me, and i eventually felt oppressed...

I believe the only way i will be successful is when i meet my own expectations, not someone else's...

So to you Call Center Industry, so long, thanks and good riddance...
