D Wade probably going to ask for a buy out and try to land in Cleveland lol.
He's getting paid to baby sit the young kids and hold their hands to the games. I hope he gets out of chicago though.

Either that or he will try to land on some other contender. Sayang the dude should have stayed in miami kung binayaran lang siya ni riles.

I have a feeling Wade won't stay in Chi-town now that Butler is gone. Magpapa buy out yan then he will probably move into Cleveland or be back in Miami...

And now CP3 gave his notice to the Clippers..He will opt out to test the FA waters....Welcome back to the dark ages, Clippers...

Chris Paul traded to the Rockets for Pat Beverley, Sam Decker, Lou Williams and 2018 first rounder.

Clippers won the trade IMO.

Harden was very effective as a point guard but now with CP3, he will be back as shooting guard. Well...we'll see. :bball:

I agree lugi Rockets dito.. ok na sa sa PG si Harden.. then they lose a hard nose defender in Beverly and a veteran scorer off the bench in Lou Williams..

They didn't trade CP3 just to let him go. If anything they're now trying to add a third star (Paul George), not get rid of the other one that they just got.

I don't agree that CP3 doesn't fit in the system, it's just that he and Harden command the ball a lot, that it's going to be interesting to see how quickly they mesh. Both individually fit in to D'Antoni's high pick and roll system, but they're going to have to work together and sacrifice some touches to make it work.

Harden needed help from another playmaker last year, that was pretty evident. He damn near broke down during the playoff run because he was doing too much. Also, they already have an Amare like rim runner in Clint Capela. If you're talking about adding someone like Blake, that's just going to mess up the rockets spacing even more and limit the freedom that CP3 and Harden will have in a spread offense.

I think the Clippers did fairly well in this trade, knowing that CP3 was about to leave anyway. But this likely means that both Reddick, and Blake are now gone. Will be interesting to see where the Clips go from here though.

pansin ko lang ball dominant talaga gustong PG ni D'antoni.. if kukuha pa sila ng isang player then i think melo is the better option than PG since melo can play catch and shoot of a screen..

Galing pa naman ni Lou ngayon season na ito after being traded to Houston. Bet ko nga yun for the 6th man kaso olats...

Sino kaya ang susunod na idadagdag ng Rockets? Si Hayward nasa Miami today to check what Pat Riley has to offer...

Interesting info regarding CP3's relationship with Doc. Looks like they had a falling out, ultimately due to how Doc was treating Austin Rivers. The last straw, was when Doc did not okay a trade that would have sent Melo to the Clips, and Austin Rivers, Pierce, and Crawford to the Knicks:
Here's some information on the Chris Paul trade.

First the MICRO:
Paul's relationship with Doc Rivers started to deteriorate rapidly after the Clippers acquired Austin Rivers. Several members of the team felt Austin acted entitled because his dad was both the coach and the President of Basketball Operations. In the view of the tenured players, Austin Rivers never tried to fit in, and when players tried to address the situation with him, he still did not respond the way the core of the team wanted him to. It led to resentment within the locker room, which often played out during games. One of Paul's biggest contentions with Doc was that Paul, and other players, felt Doc treated Austin more favorably than other players. He would yell at guys for certain things during games and practices, but not get on Austin in the same manner for similar transgressions.

But what really solidified Paul's dissatisfaction with Doc was a proposed trade involving Carmelo Anthony last season. New York offered Carmelo and Sasha Vujacic to the Clippers in exchange for Jamal Crawford, Paul Pierce and Austin Rivers, a deal to which Rivers ultimately said no. That event led Paul to feel that keeping his son on the roster was more important to Doc than improving the team. So, ultimately, Paul lost both trust and faith in Doc. As one league executive put it, "Chris despises Doc."

(I was also told that when Paul met with the team to inform them of his plans, Jerry West was not in attendance. It was only Doc and Lawrence Frank.)

MACRO
This move is a win-win for Chris Paul, and it was all part of a master plan. By opting into the final year of his current contract and pressuring the Clippers to trade him to Houston, Paul will be in the exact same situation next summer. He can re-sign with the Rockets for 5 years and $200+ million or sign a 4-year deal for about $150 million with another team. In addition, he will save several million dollars in state income tax.

Also, by being committed to the Rockets for only one season, it gives him a year to see if he can actually co-exist and pursue a title with James Harden. But even beyond that, this move gives Paul more flexibility to join LeBron James in 2018. If he stayed in LA or signed the max deal with the Clippers and forced them to do a sign-and-trade with the Rockets, Paul and LeBron could only join forces at one location. Now, they will have the ability to pick and choose wherever they want to go as a tandem, which could be Houston, LA {Lakers or Clippers (provided Doc is no longer with organization)}, or any other destination in-between.

Blake Griffin will reportedly sign with the Clipps for 173 million for 5 years. I think the Clippers had to sign blake because they're future was basically sacrificed for some dumb win now moves from Doc over the past few years. But I think this will bury them further in the ground in two years when Blake's knee issues finally give in.

Jeff Teague to Minnesota for 3 years 55 mill. Meh. Minnesota needs shooters. Teague doesn't shoot threes and needs space to work. I'm still not sold on Minnesota, especially since neither Towns, nor Wiggins try on defense.
