I don't get why most religious people tend to see us atheists as arrogant people, even as I'm just stating that I'm a full blown out of the closet atheist .. just with the word atheist people put on a disgusted face.

^^Ewan ko din nga bakit maraming ganyan na tao. Minsan kasi masyado nagmamarunong ang mga tao. Feeling ko tuloy sinasabihan ako. Na dapat lahat ng tao magpaconvert sa Christianity. Pero pagbinanggit mo si Pope John Paul II, medyo nagiiba sila. Pope John Paul II was great believer in respecting other religions and beliefs. And I believe that what he said also applies to atheist as well.

Basta ako, respect what other people belief's. Religion should be accepted by a person and not be forced upon to them. What's the point in forcing them if they aren't going to believe in the practices the religion preach. Pointless.

they just hate the fact that I don't believe in ANY GOD ..

I have a lot of things to say about religion, not just christianity but also others that no deity exists ..
eventually when religion and science debate it all boils down to one thing, neither side has solid proof at all ..
modern science cant explain how we got here .. but that doesnt mean we have to point to something supernatural that did this all.


but mainly one of my reasons why I turned atheist is .. actually reading the bible. Ironic.

basta talaga ako when it comes religion eh parang "mind your own business"...

look, when we had our first religion wala tayong choice, kung pinangak kang Katoliko ganon na kakalakihan mo but on your proper age you can eventually, choose na...

magkakaiba lahat, most of all, magkakaiba tayo ng ugali pananaw at interpretation ng kanya kanya natin faith so mahirap talaga pag-dikitin ang magkaibang poles kung ikukumpara ito sa magnet...

kaya kung may nag-e-explain sa kin ng paniniwala niya... i just listen and respect his point of view but will never try or even thought or arguing...

if they mock or nambastos ng ibang religion let proper authority handle the situation, i won't join any protest or something just to show that i "belong" to such church...

the only thing that i would do worst comes to worst is to die by my faith... i will never let someone threaten me to praise an idol or exchange my faith for survival... i won't let that happen sabihin niyo nang "feeling martyr" ako pero diyan ko ipaglalaban hanggang kamatayan ang paniniwala ko...

kaya kame ng mga friends kong iglesha, muslim, protestante, buddhist atbp... eh walang nagiging issue sa mga bagay na patungkol sa pananampalataya...

parehas lang din naman ang mga atheist lalong lalo na sa internet. most of the atheist eh wala din namang respeto sa mga religion, bigla na lang susulpot out of nowhere at babastusin ang religion. yung iba naman pilit na makikipag diskusyon para patunayang tama ang atheism.

parang religion din naman ang atheism. pipilitin ka din ma-convert sa kanila.

Dapat judge by one's character not his religion. I'd rather have a nice friend of different or no religion than a jerk of the same.

I'm not sure if I understand from what I hear,Atheism is belief in a god but not any of practices and religion while being an Agnostic is not believing at all.Am I right?
