Conor vs nate 2 official for 200, also Frankie vs aldo for interim fw belt.
I am not a fan of the rematch, because I thought it was pretty decisive for nate. I'd rather conor defend his belt if able. That said, it's still going to be a fun fight and we will see if it plays out differently.
I think conor has difficulty with Nate's range, and he's going to have a hard time finishing nate so he better be on his game.

pero Conor was winning those 2 rounds di ba, kaya lang he didn't play it smart, and that's Nate's game the give and take slugging it out kind of fight. Conor got the skills to win but needs to follow a game plan.

Yeah I agree, you're preaching to the choir here. Haha.pogzz505 wrote:pero Conor was winning those 2 rounds di ba, kaya lang he didn't play it smart, and that's Nate's game the give and take slugging it out kind of fight. Conor got the skills to win but needs to follow a game plan.
Still we saw that nate presents significant challenges if conor doesn't take him seriously. I fell into the trap of thinking conor would run over nate, but nate had a great performance.
Don't get me wrong, I'm still picking conor. I just don't see the point of this rematch other than those heavyweight checks and the record ppv and gate. If conor is going to hold on to the fw belt he should defend it or let it go if he wants other challenges.

Ruh roh, may away ang UFC and Conor. There have been rumors for the longest time about both Conor and the UFC having a contentious relationship (AKA gusto ni Dana cinocontrol fighters nila and Conor was about himself a lot).
Looks like the UFC pulled conor out of UFC 200 because Conor won't attend the press conference this weekend. Apparently, Conor's busy training in Iceland and doesn't want to go to Vegas to the press conference and shoot marketing materials. Lol parang si Nick Diaz vs GSP nung UFC 137

I don't believe retired si Conor, I bet this is just a power play from both sides.

Could be, but the hype never left IMO. He's still the sport's biggest star (next to Ronda). I mean look at the reaction his announcement generated. Anyway, I'm convinced he's going to fight again. The UFC just wants to throw their weight around and let Conor know who's boss.joey_ed27 wrote:^ trying to re-build the hype..

Sakto, GSP is hinting at a return to the UFC din. So this softens the blow for the UFC if GSP returns as he is one of their biggest PPV draws.

I'd believe Conor's announcement more. Punk is just a wannabe. Sabi nga nung 1 nagcomment online, para daw syang prosti na ayaw magpagamit pero binabayaran pa rin....parokyano wrote:Oh no CM Punk is also retiring..

Great card overall, super boring main event. This would have been DC's best chance to beat Jones. Jones didn't look quite like himself today.
Man, Barboza looked really good today. I didn't think he had it in him. But Wow at how Pettis has falled. He was the guy UFC was hyping up a lot just over a year ago, and now, he lost 3 straight fights after a year.
Yair Rodriguez looked impressive as hell.
