major additions gameplay-wise to Kingdom Hearts III
Transforming Keyblades - The new trailer shows Sora's Keyblade becoming a wide gambit of other weapons, from a rocket launcher to dual guns to a flying pegasus creature leading a chariot. Each Keyblade transformation is unlocked by clearing all missions in one of Kingdom Hearts' worlds, and each individual world offers its own unique Keyblade transformation. Nomura said the Pegasus and chariot version, for example, is from the world of Disney's Hercules (which also confirms there is a Hercules world in Kingdom Hearts III).
Shadow of the Colossus-style boss battles - There will be fights against smaller enemies, but some of KHIII's bosses will be gargantuan, allowing Sora greater freedom of movement and room to experiment with attacks--including the new theme-park-ride summon attacks.

Kingdom Hearts III's fundamental gameplay systems and mechanics are almost complete, with development now shifting towards mass production of areas and other elements, its director has said.
"For the most part we've established the ground foundations, like the basic systems and mechanics of what's going to go in the game. Development of that is pretty much close to complete. But of course, since this is an HD title, it's now building the resources, and development of the 'mass' elements of it, like mass production of the areas and the actual things that are going into the game.
"Other elements, including the mini-games and other various smaller items; their progress is very varied...some of them are polished and very close to final state, but at the same time some elements are still in the planning phase and I haven't laid out the groundwork yet. But the basic structure of what's going to go in the game is set, it's now a matter of mass production of the different elements."
During the “It’s Game Time: Disney Interactive Takes the Stage†panel at D23 expo in Anaheim, Producer Shinji Hashimoto and Square Enix gave announced new information about Kingdom Hearts III.
Not only we heard that all Keyblades will have special transformation, but also that the game will get a special collaboration with Disney’s film Big Hero 6. The story will take place after the end of the movie, after the protagonists already formed their superhero team. Of course the adorable Baymax will return as well. The original Baymax controlled by darkness will also appear as an enemy.
KINGDOM HEARTS III - BIG HERO 6 Announce trailer - D23 2015
Speaking to the publication (via Siliconera), Tetsuya Nomura admitted that the hotly anticipated Disney-RPG, which was announced at E3 2013 during Sony's press event, is going to take longer than expected to see the light of day.
Square Enix is attempting to make up for the game's wait by offering Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue, while compiles a number of previous games including Dream Drop Distance and a prequel titled Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep: A Fragmentory Passage.
Six seconds of footage from the new Kingdom Hearts III trailer showcased at D23 Expo Japan 2015 last month has surfaced online.
The footage shows the new Attraction Flow technique, dubbed (likely tentatively) “Shooting Ride†and seemingly based on the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters ride. The attack sees Sora, Donald, and Goofy jump into the ride’s cart, strap on a pair of goggles, and switches to first-person view for firing at heartless.
Square Enix released new footage of for Kingdom Hearts III and Kingdom Hearts HD II.8 Final Chapter Prologue.
Apparently, the footage is the same that was shown at D23 Expo in Tokyo behind closed doors, and a small portion was revealed last week. Square Enix has mercilessly teased the fans with it, and it’s finally public.
Of course, it looks lovely, if you’re into the mash-up of Disney and Square Enix. Especially for Kingdom Hearts III, this time we got plenty of pure gameplay, which is great.
Kingdom Hearts HD II.8 Final Chapter Prologue will be released in 2016 exclusively for PS4, while Kingdom Hearts III is coming for PS4 and Xbox One, but still does not have a release window.
kingdom Hearts 3 is set to feature classic Disney duo Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, according to voice actor Jim Cummings.
Speaking to a fan at the Albuquerque Comic-Con over the weekend (via KingdomHeartsInsider), Cummings was quizzed whether or not Darkwing Duck would be making an appearance in the hotly anticipated PlayStation 4 and Xbox One sequel.
While he didn’t have much to say on that particular subject (which is a shame, as Darkwing is a great character in his own right), Cummings did however reveal that both Winnie the Pooh and Tigger will be appearing in Kingdom Hearts 3. This could also mean that the 100 Acre Wood will put in an appearance, although that’s just speculation on our part.
