Talk about things other than video games. What are your other hobbies? What's your favorite TV show? Are you into sports. Any recommended restaurants? Do you travel?
Started reading Dan Brown's Inferno. Already at chapter 11. Dan Brown never fails to engross readers. Very exciting kaagad the first few chapters. I find it hard to put the book down.

Yup, just got it in ebook now pero hindi ko pa mauumpisahan kasi nangangalahati pa lang ako sa SPeaker of the Dead. Pero nung nakita ko nga tapos nabasa ko mga list of authors, sabi ko na sure read to sakin! =)
Di ko maintindihan kung bakit hindi maganda mga reviews niya (sa Amazon) dahil sa tingin ko nga maganda yung libro. I get it, hindi masyado nasa spotlight yung Alien this time pero for what it is, ang ganda ng character development and yung kwento naman ay maganda din. Anyway, I really enjoyed it and looking forward to the next in the series!
Also two-thirds of the way done with Speaker of the Dead. Lalo lang gumaganda kwento lalo na nung lumabas na yung mga revelations ng story! Pero after nito, break muna siguro ako before going back for the next one in the series which is Xenocide. I'll probably read something scary to get some change of pace.
Finally got to reading this. Some writers have great prose but aren't good storytellers. Others are good storytellers despite unimpressive prose. Hilary Mantel has the best of both worlds.
Current Top 5:

Just finished reading Speaker of the Dead. Wow...i never expected it to be that beautiful. I knew it was good, i expected it to be a great book that went with the Ender series..but to show life and explain the different perspectives that it did was just beautifully unexpected. Now I understand why a lot of the people who follow the series say that this is one of Card's best in the series if not the best.
Orson Scott Card...thank you for this book. =)
Dami! Nice collection bro! Sa National dati may mga nakikita pa ako na The Twilight Zone books, might be a good addition. Meron ako nun kasi bumibili ako pag nakikita ko since I've been a fan of the tv series and magaganda yung mga kwento. =)
May Twilight Zone na graphic novels Bro, sana makahanap ako sa bookstores....Fan din ako ng Twilight Zone Bro, no one creates such beautiful show anymore....

Oo nga...right now more on the gore factor na ang karamihan sa horror / supernatural shows eh, medyo nag take a step back na yung story telling. Sayang din kasi madalas my moral yung mga kwento sa TTWZ.

If we're not the only two here who appreciates TZ, The Outer Limits and other anthology shows, i'd create a new topic for that....

Now reading:
Xenocide by OSCard
X - Men: Gifted by Peter David
Funny how I can now read 2 different books at the same time. Dati ayaw na ayaw ko yun dahil hindi ko masundan yung story if I unfocus myself from one to switch to another. But lately since I'm reading one on my ipad and one as a regular book, mas nakakaya ko na.
