@Fantasy Gamer: Yup, yun ang nabasa ko sa PS3T forum. Pang-siraan ba ng PS3 ang trophy na yan. Ewan ko nga ba sa naka-isip ng trophy requirement na yan.

salamat pero mag-rent na lang siguro ako sa SM for 10 hours tapos iwan ko na lang yun PS3 kapag napagod na ako.. basta bayad yun for 10 hours at wag nila papatayin.. hehe

Pero meron ako sinusubaybayan series na dahil sa isang trophy at posibleng hindi ko ma-plat ay hindi ko na nilaro.
Ito ay yun Disgaea 3 at ang trophy na binabangit ko ay yun:

Iwanan daw ba nakabukas for 10 hours ang PS3. Ayoko naman isugal ang buhay ng PS3 ko dahil lang sa isang trophy at isang platinum.

Hindi naman ako masyadong concern sa trophies pag bibili ako ng game..yung street fighter at GTA IV..kahit malabong makuha ko yung platinum..binili ko parin kasi enjoy naman ako..hehe..

IMO, ok ang trophies. Parang record/diary mo siya ng mga nagawa mo sa isang game. Di naman siya required pero tinatry ko kunin lahat ng kaya ko para masulit yung game. In my experience, mas matagal ko nalalaro yung mga game kesa dun sa friend ko na hinihiraman ko ng game pero di nagtotrophy hunt so i guess mas nasusulit ko haha.

Story Related Trophies - Dito mo malalaman kung hanggang saang part ka ng game natapos.

Difficulty Related - Adds replay value. Kung walang ganito, for sure normal or easy difficulty lang lagi ko lalaruin pero dahil sa ganito tinry ko hardest settings (mass effect/uncharted series/batman) at sobrang rewarding naman kung natapos mo.

Collect X Items trophies - Yung iba sobrang hassel (kill pigeons in GTA 4, collect feathers in AC, blast shards in Infamous, star caps in Fallout) to the point na nakakatamad na pero i somewhat enjoy et hehe. Never ko to ginawa ng walang guide kasi sobrang time consuming.

Online Trophies - Pinakaayaw ko since sobrang grinding kailangan mo dito. Depende na rin syo kung kukunin mo o hindi. Yung iba masaya kunin ng legit (multiplayer sa Brotherhood, sobrang ganda). Yung iba naman sayang lang sa oras unless trip mo talaga yung game.

Skill Based Trophies - Ito yung trophies na pinakamahirap kunin, yung konti lang talaga nakakakuha. (Complete all trials in SF4, UMVC3, any trophy ng Trash Panic). Mas valueavle trophy na to kesa sa Platinum ng Terminator Salvation haha.

Objective Trophies - Eto yung mga random trophies na bibigyan ka ng objective na kailangan mo mameet. IMO, eto pinakamasayang kunin. Example: Uncharted 3, hampasin mo ng isda yung mga kalaban, ACBrotherhood: Pumatay ka ng guard gamit walis. Kung walang ganito sa trophy list, di ko malalaman na pwede pala gawin yung mga ganun.

At oo, di ako bumibili ng game dahil lang sa trophy. parang bonus lang yan. Never ako bibili ng larong pambata para lang maglevel up yung trophy card ko dahil wala namang pakealam ibang tao dun Numbers lang yan hehe.

Ginagawa ko lang yung "objective trophies" (but not all, kung masaya lang kunin) at yung "collect x items trophies". Ever since kasi, favorite ko gawin yung mga collect this collect that sa mga games.

Though I feel that there are harder trophies out there (like Mirror's Edge and Super Street Fighter IV), this list was well-crafted. It covers a thick genre space and it's pretty fair.

^ I beg to disagree re: GTA IV - Wanted trophy as one of the hardest trophy to get. For me, mas mahirap pa yun AWP trophy ng GTA IV (dba, Jay?). Yun Wanted kailangan lang magtyaga sa grind.

Btw, yun GTA IV lang kasi ang nalaro ko sa mga yan. hehe

Akala ko nuon yung Knight's Honor Trophy ng Dark Souls ang pinakamahirap kong nakuhang trophy, pero mas mahirap pa pala yung Campaign Trophy ng Batman AC (108 medals).

puwede naman i-off, mag sstop din ang time nya, imagine nalang 1-2hrs siguro everyday pero matagal, masyado dami pa naman character, fastest way talaga is yung rubberband technique
