Mga sir, worth it po ba talaga ang surround sound sa console gaming? Di ko pa kasi nasubukan maglaro with surround sound. PC speakers and sony headset lang gamit ko. I'm planning to buy a home theater pero baka di ko ma appreciate kasi di naman ako audiophile so I'm checking sa mga naka setup dito kung worth it ba talaga. Also, any chance na makakuha ako ng decent setup for around 15K? Thanks

I forsee an AV rack upgrade coming in your near future.
Check out cdr king sometime theyve got cheap but quality av racks. Yung gawa sa tempered glass.
How did you connect your ps4 to the AVR by the way?
For best audio quality try this:
PS4 to AVR input via hdmi
AVR output to TV inpit via hdmi

Tama ka, next ko is yung rack luma na rin kasi. Regarding sa connection, PS3 and PS4 to AVR via hdmi tapos AVR to TV via hdmi. Medyo naguguluhan lang ako sa settings ng console. Right now kasi sa audio settings, I chose PCM over bitstream kasi okay daw yun pag naka hdmi ka. Sa receiver ko laging PCM nakadisplay, walang option to change to DTS or DD5.1. Normal lang ba yun?

@larry2403: ang alam ko depende yun sa source mo kung DTS, Dolby Digital, DTS HD-MA, Dolby HD. Try mo din bitstream over PCM. Pag bitstream kasi yung AVR angdedecode ng audio. Pag PCM naman yung player ang nagdedecode. Yung nga na bagong audio format na Dolby Atmos required na nakaset sa bitstream yung AVR.
