Got my PS5 last Saturday and after almost a week of testing, here are my thoughts.

1. I been using the Rest Mode quite often and quite frequently and I have not encountered any issues at all. Lalo na nung first night kasi I had to download games games and stuff. Patay-sindi ang PS5 ko. Still, no errors whatsoever.

2. System is very quiet with or without any discs. When I play RDR2 on my PS5, tahimik lang. And I don't know what coil whine is. But I can tell you na tahimik talaga ang PS5 ko.

3. I have not encountered any stick drift from my Dual Sense controller out of the box. I have used it constantly since I got the unit and walang stick drift. Although, as I understand it, stick drift develops over time. Wag naman sana mangyari.

4. You can easily hot swap the external HDD from PS4 to PS5 and vice versa. No need to re-download games to your PS5. Very convenient

5. The system tend to get hot. Halos pareho ng PS4 Pro. And dahil anlakas ng fan niya, minsan nararamdaman ko yung hot air brushing off my legs.

6. User interface is kind of a mess. Parang anggulo gulo niya tignan. The transition between PS3 XMB to PS4 UI, medyo ok pa. Parang onti lang binago. sa PS5, It's kind of a jumbled mess. Siguro makakasanayan din over time. And as of now, no wallpapers.

Overall, I'm happy I have not encountered any serious issues. Again, These are just based on my experience with my console. It may be different with yours. Happy Gaming!

I just got my PS5 last Friday morning from DataBlitz. I got in the "waiting list" last 9th wave. I was not expecting to get a slot but they called me on Monday that there was an available slot for the disc edition. Only that it's a bundle so it's P38k. Bundled with NBA 2K22 Jumpstart, NBA 2K22, Miles Morales and Dobe Cooling Stand. I snagged it after ensuring that it's not overpriced. Since I don't play NBA games, I posted it in the Facebook Marketplace for sale.

I set it up last Sunday night and played Miles Morales, Kena: Bridge of Spirits and Diablo 2 Resurrected. Natigil lang ako nung lumindol.

Finally, FINALLY! Secured a slot for a PS5. :)

Congrats, sir! I know the feeling! Haha! Got mine nung wave 5. It also helped na naka auto-complete yung phone ko laya ambilis ko nafill-up mga pre-order forms. I have a friend na hindi pa rin makakkuha.

Any suggestions mga sirs? Need ba talaga TEXT SPEAK VIOLATION sinewave bibilihin? Medyo expensive kasi sya compared sa stepped approx. sinewave. Need ko lang ma shut down sya ng tama during power outage. Thanks2x

Did a bit of searching from Google, and according to THIS site...
The PS5 has been recorded to draw 200 Watts at peak when playing next generation games such as Spider-Man: Miles Morales and other titles which are pretty demanding. While browsing the consoles menus the power draw should be very low and a fraction of what it was at its peak.

Based on the 200 watt power draw of the PS5 it can be easily concluded with accounting for overhead power draw you will need at least a 850VA or 450W UPS Battery Backup to carry the PS5 should you have a brownout or total power outage.
The real question one should start with here is if you need a pure sinewave UPS or if a simulated sinewave. Some more expensive PCs benefit from a pure sinewave but for most other applications it is waste of money. Pure sinewave will cost more and will not last as long with the same sized battery so you don't want to spend the money on it if you don't have to.
Personally, I got an APC UPS when I got my PS4 for less than P3k. Hope this helps in your decision which UPS to get. :)

He he...
