VIDEO At launch, we will offer two options: a PlayStation®5 console with an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive and a PlayStation®5 Digital Edition without a disc drive. The PS5 gameplay experience will be the same, so the choice is all yours. While there are some slight differences in the look of each model, for the overall design, we wanted to deliver a console that’s bold, stunning, and unlike any previous generation of PlayStation.

PS5 Features Reconfirmed By Sony: Backwards Compatibility, SDD, 8K, And More
As previously revealed by Sony, the PS5 will boast some impressive horsepower under the hood, including a brand new CPU and GPU, ray tracing, 3D audio, and will still support discs despite an obvious increase in digital distribution over the past few years. This is in addition to being able to play PS4 games and support for 8K resolution.

8K seems a little overkill at this point. Most haven't even caught up with 4K yet. But I guess it doesn't hurt to be future-proof.

Nagpasabi na ko dun sa kaibigan ko sa Canada na ibili ako sa Best Buy next year.
Buti naman at meron ng 4K blu-ray drive. Sana pwede na din ulit magplay ng audio discs.

May nagcomment na kaya ganyan yung design nya eh para sa airflow at kapag ini-stack nila yung mga dev kits for stress testing.
