I started checking stocks way back April 2016. Back then ang nanguguna palagi (from my observation) was Universal Mining Corp. Kaso ever since Gina Lopez & the DENR started a crackdown on mining companies, mukhang di maganda mag invest sa mining corps ngayon...

yes stay away from mining stocks as of now. delikado sila sa ngayong administration. ako din naman hindi pa din kabisado ang stocks. most of the time kumukuha lang din ako ng mga tips at recommendations sa mga experts

Do you think a Puzzle shop biz will work sa pinas? Wala kasi Puzzle shop sa pinas.

I'll buy wood puzzles na walang license or copyright and reproduce it here en mass. I asked around for woodworking prices and it looks doable. I can sell a wood puzzle around 250-350 depende sa details ng puzzles. These are puzzles that are currently not openly available locally. If it goes well, I might be able to import licensed puzzles like hanayama and other puzzles made by world famous puzzle makers.

There's a whole world of puzzles na konti lang sa pinas ang may alam. All we know is yung mga wire puzzles na binebenta sa mga novelty shops sa tabi tabi.

To be honest, a puzzle shop might not work lalo na yung mga complex figures. The only puzzle I know that the pinoy masa usually prefers are those crossword puzzles you see at the back of the local tabloids sitting right next to the sports sections. Cheap and disposable - good enough for short amount of leisure :agree:.

That's a different audience kasi. I'm hoping there are those that thrive on difficult puzzles. There's a big payoff kasi when you solve something difficult, there's a big release in seratonin. I had friend who's initial reaction is "Dagdag stress lang yan" pero after trying out my puzzles, they just wanted more, almost like an addict.

I'm also banking on the notion that people who is smart who likes a challenge; there are people that wants to feel smart by trying it out; then there's the people who just wants to gloat that they've solved this and that, not necessarily smart, might just be egotistic and a bit of a cheat. :D

Not to mention a well made puzzle is a great display and conversation piece on a coffee or sala table.

Of course, the target audience is middle to upper class.

^You could then just buy off a few pieces and sell them off in FB or OLX just to see the reception for them. Get the cheap ones first, tapos sell them off as ornamental display puzzles para justified yung presyo na makikita nila for the item - display na, puzzle pa! :bigmouth:

Mahirap kasi gawing selling point na puzzles lang sya kasi you dont want to turn off potential buyers by having them buy something and not be able to solve it eventually. Atleast pag minarket mo sya as displays, they can still use it pa kahit di nila masolve. Para naman hindi nila isipin na "sayang lang ang pinambili ko neto."

Oh, they can solve it. My friends solved my premium puzzles around 6-8 hours. Hehehehe They could not stop talking about it, even took videos and pictures of themselves solving it.

Yup, my friend said that itry ko muna online. I think ang mahirap in selling puzzles is that people won't know they will like it unless they try it and how do they try it if they don't buy one.

..you could make a bet against them, if they cannot solve it in 1 hour they have to buy it. :bigmouth: Kumita ka pa agad haha...

Or better yet, have it displayed at one of those company outings and have 3-5 puzzles playable for a small amount and have them respond to a survey if they would buy. :D
