C-3PO mentions a Captain Hoff and the ship’s crew, and it’s implied they all died in the crash and subsequent explosion, leaving the droids to complete their mission by reaching a downed ship across the planet.

What are these comics/books related to the last SW? I want to read them but there's alot of books that are now no longer canon.

Barring Episodes 1-3, Death Star storyline was just too boring. Knowing Disney, they're going to milk the #@*^ out of this franchise. Sana nga magka Obi-Wan movies.
