Siguro this is something negative sa mga kakabili lang ng unit or yung mga bibili pa lang since they have to hold off buying a new PS4 for the time being.

But for those na medyo matagal nang may unit, an upgrade is very enticing.

I don't think this will segment the games between PS4 and PS4K. Twice as powerful GPU is still not enough to output current PS4 games to native 4K resolution with the same graphical fidelity. What the 4K will most probably do is only upscale games and play 4K BD movies and perhaps provide improvements to PS4 games such as higher frame rates, etc.

This sucks! Essentially a PS5 that is backwards compatible. . The way rumors are flying around mukhang malapit na ito.

Hindi muna ako bibili.. Isasabay ko siya pag may budget na ako bumili ng 4K na tv. Right now at 50k-70k budget may 4K TV ka na.. between LG, Samsung. Sa Sony meron din kaso below 50 inches, 48" yata. May bundle ngayon ang Sony 120,000php 4K TV with PS4 kaso 500GB model at 1 controller. 1 year warranty lang.

When the time comes officially released na yung PS4.5 mas mababa na bentahan ng 4K TVs.
Maybe at that time at between 70 to 100k you can have both PS4.5 and a 4K TV.

I don't need 60" TV for gaming rig sa living room. 40" to 50" pwede na. Sa kwarto naman, 32" pwede na.
Laruin ko na lang sa PC yung ibang PS4 games.

Pero may tanong ako.. Kung 4K supported yung PS4.5, bale yung mga games na ilalabas for that model eh may logo sa gamebox na "4K Supported"? Sa ngayon kasi 720p to Full HD ang resolution ng games di ba? Sana tumaas din ang frame rates. maging minimum standard ang 60fps at that time...

Sino naman aawayin ni Kratos na God sa rumored God or War 4 na kasama nitong bundle? Hopefully hindi ganun ka difference sa 1080p gaming using older models. Baka mapabili ako ng walang sa oras lol.

Rumor: God of War 4 set in Norse mythology, artwork leaks

Kratos invading specific mythologies (Greek, Norse, etc.) w/c I thought was a really cool idea.

Giant Bomb has shared new information on the rumored PlayStation 4.5 console, which it reports is code-named “NEO.”

The NEO will feature a higher clock speed than the original PlayStation 4, an improved GPU, and higher memory bandwidth. The hard-drive is the same as that of the original PlayStation 4, but it is not clear if that means in terms of capacity or connection speed.

NEO’s specs:

CPU – 8 Jaguar Cores at 2.1 GHz (versus current 8 Jaguar Cores at 1.6 GHz)
GPU – Improved AMD GCN, 36 CUs at 911 MHz (versus current AMD GCN, 18 CUs at 800 MHz)
Memory – 8 GB GDDR5, 218 GB/s (versus current 8 GB GDDR5, 176 GB/s)

Giant Bomb reports that starting October, every PlayStation 4 game will be required to ship with both a “Base Mode,” which will run on the current PlayStation 4, and a “NEO Mode,” which will be used for the new model. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean that the new model will be ready in October. The documents received by Giant Bomb note that developers are allowed to launch NEO-ready games before the launch of the NEO console itself.

There will be no games exclusive to the new PS4K / PS4.5 console. Any title playable on the NEO will be playable on the regular PS4. According to sources, Sony appears adamant on preventing the fragmentation of the PS4 player base. NEO owners will not see any exclusive gameplay elements. such as a NEO-only VR mode, but it can have an improved version of a features. An example is since Rocket League features 4-player splitscreen, the NEO Mode could support over 4-players on the same screen. Additionally, games will not be able to give any exclusive unlockables when running on the NEO console.

NEO owners will not be allowed to be separated from regular PS4 owners while playing on PlayStation Network. Similarly, the user interface, PlayStation Store, online communities, and overall user experience will be the same.

Given these restrictions and standards, Sony is not replacing the existing PS4 with the new NEO console; both consoles will be exist concurrently, similar to how Nintendo sells New 3DS handheld, alongside the older models. Previous leaks suggest the new PS4K launching at $399. The regular PS4 will likely see a price drop, making it an affordable choice for those jumping into the current generation.

So how the game works? Yung game na mag-dedetect kung saang PS4 version unit saka sila mag-fufunction base on what PS4 model they're inserted?

Nabitin yung pag bili ko ps4. Last month ko pa sana gusto.
