Your ISP probably blocks ports that PSN uses. Have you tried connecting your PS3 to your router using a wired connection?

OT: Kaya pala di mo pa naa-approve ang PSN invite ko. Hehehe.

Nag port forwarding na din ako sa router ko pati DMZ, nag connect sya once pero ayaw na ulit e. Sana maayos to this next update.

Have you tried a wired connection? Also, updating the router's firmware solves incompatibility issues most of the time.

Can you browse the net on the PS3? very strange

That's not strange at all. The browser uses port 80 which is usually open. That's the same reason why some ISPs in Europe can let you browse but prevents you from using torrent applications.

try changing the MTU to 1364 (dont choose automatic mtu , choose manual then set it to 1364..)

- dude kamusta naman ang laro mo using globe? im using globe din.. 512kbps net ko nag upgrade kami ng 1mb pero di parin sa bill 1mb na pero sa speed ang maximum is 512 lang talaga... palagi ako speedtest.. :heh:

Naka-Smart Bro ako. Wala naman akong na-config na DMZ at port forwarding, naka-connect naman ako sa PSN. Nakalaro pa ako ng online game sa GH3.

Stable na ang connection ko ngayon. But I haven't tested it thoroughly since I'm now busy at work. Test ko na lang this weekend.

Thanks Misyel ill try that. Halos lahat ng configuration ginawa ko na but im still getting erratic connection. Most of he time error pa din. Sometimes nakakachamba.

mga kuya pwede ba ang debit card instead of credit card sa PSN? at safe ba ang paggamit nun sa pag download ng games? thanx po!!!!

you can only use a debit card if you have a credit card linked to that account. You cannot make a transaction through ATMdebit, where you have to insert a pin.

be sure to disable both uPnp and Media Connection blah blah in your Network Settings sa PS3 mo...

Also I found out na TEXT SPEAK VIOLATION IP address ng PS3 mo mahalaga din... Let's say your starting IP is .100. You cannot pick 100-149 daw as it is reserved sa DHCP. Quite frankly I don't know what I'm talking about as I'm new here but before ang problema ko no internet connection mismo! I'm using LinkSys and pinaltan ko na TEXT SPEAK VIOLATION una kong router kasi sya nag cacause ng conflict eh. (Router to Wireless Router config isn't hard, but it it's easy either lol)

So try the three things I said and tell me if it works na... If now then I'll come back with more solutions as before I have researched the connectivity of PS3 to Wi-Fi to death.

Actually i have a static IP and naka-off yung DHCP kaya wala ko problem dun. I already tried disabling uPnp kaso im having DNS error naman. I already tried disabling Media Connection, ganun pa din kaya i turned it back on since im streaming media from my Mac, and that's more important than being connected to PSN.

Update:
Out of the blue, my PS3 is constantly connected to PSN as of yesterday. I dunno why pero all my settings are the same kaya i guess this has something to do with PSN talaga. Sana tuloy tuloy na ito. Thanks!

there's a huge space between your ISP and PSN. baka somewhere in between nagkaka-loss ng packets? its possible

i guess next time you can try pinging PSN kung alam mo IP address from your PC to see kung may connection nga
