We just transferred house and sadly I found out that pldt dsl isn't available in my area. Before I was getting 6 Mbps for P999 at pldt, now I'm using smart bro prepaid and it's just no good for online play during peak hours.

I'm thinking of getting tattoo dsl if it's available here. Are there any tattoo dsl users living in or around better living parañaque who can give me feedback on the service? I tried their tattoo wireless prepaid and it sucks. Only getting 300-700kbps down with 2-300+ pings.

Please any feedback or recommendations for reliable internet in this area will be a big help. Thanks!

So I'm a new subscriber to Globe Wimax (former smartbro subscriber) plan 999 and I can log on the PSN. Nag internet connection test ako, succeeded naman lahat. Napansin ko na Nat 3 and nat type, and not available and uPnP. sabi sa dulo, "the router in use may not support IP fragments, and the communication features of some games may have been restricted. For details, contact the router manufacturer."

Sinabi kasi nila nung una na hindi advisable gumamit ng ibang router para sa modem ng PS3 which the brand is Huawei, so ang pinaka best advice nalang na binigay samin para magka wifi is the router of globe itself which is Tattoo home yung tatak and Huawei din.

I'm not sure since I can't just switch to my old router that easily as far as the modem issue is concern, nakakasira daw kasi ng modem at nareport na ng marami (yun ang sabi sakin) and para safe na din. So we tried their router which is ginagamit ko ngayon, ok naman sa internet through laptop/desktop, Sa PS3 I can log on pero hindi ako makapaglaro online (MP). I'm an online player,, so importante din sakin na maglaro ng MP with friends.

I'm not also sure if it's the IP, modem, or the router itself why many people can't play online, and I have noticed na may iba namang wimax users na nakakapag online gaming.

and If you are using any router for your wimax what brand do you use? how is it and paano kayo nakakapaglaro online?

Any help? tips and tricks na dapat kong gawin, Thank you in advance!

Port forwarding usually ang solution sa upnp and nat3 problems ng router kapag hinde makapagMP pero by opinion talaga i dont like mga wifi internet kasi kapag ganyan, shared ang connection ng isang base station to more than 1 user (usually nakakabit sa isang base station antenna ay 50-100 subscribers) kaya limited lang nakakaMP due to all ports for gaming being used. Mas ok pa talaga mag DSL wired or cable internet kasi dedicated ang connection and ip address. Try mo contact globe for router configuration sa gaming although good luck na lang kung anong alibi bibigay ng tech support sau kapag hinde nya magawa yan.

Hinde ako familiar sa huawei brand na router eh. What i can see you try to do is tell the globe tech to set the huawei to bridge mode then kabit mo yung previous router nyo dun then try to check kung makakaport forward ka na nun sa ganun setup.

Edit: Hmm since my uPnP is not available with a dynamic IP address, need ko maging static IP with an available uPnP. Napa port forward na rin at napalitan na ng new router, there is just one thing, not available pa rin yung uPnP, I think that part has been skipped, which is dapat ma enable sya sa router right? para makapag ol gaming. As far as I know...

Guys napa port forward ko na sa technician mismo... napalitan na rin ng router, but I have noticed na not available pa rin yung uPnP, I think na-skip yun, and nat 3 so meaning to say hindi parin ako makapaglaro ng MP Ok I think the last option is, ipa-enable ang uPnP sa mismong router ng globe.

Limitation talaga ng globe yan pag dating sa wimax. Sana pala nag globe dsl ka na lang kasi ok pa yun sa MP gaming.

hello umm di daw pwede dsl sa area namin dahil wala pa and not anytime soon, so wimax lang ang offer. 2 options lang kami, globe wimax or smartbro both wireless) because of some personal matters, we switched to globe wimax. Pero I come up with the final solution na, need to enable uPnP through the router, and manually put all those required ports of specific game or ports of PSN itself.

PS3: GLOBE Wimax - NAT Type 3 Solution - (UPDATE)

This Tutorial is not to change your NAT Type. I Just want to share how to play Multiplayer online even if you have a NAT Type 3 (Works with Wired and Wireless Connection). IT IS VERY EASY

1.)Make sure your PS3 System firmware is updated to latest version 4.50 above
2.)Go to your Router setting Type this 192.168.1.1
3.)Go to UpNp and click enable

Note: Even if you port forward or DMZ (it wont work) you still get Nat type 3

4.) Go to your PS3 (Internet connection setting) Choose Custom
5.) Manual the DNS Setting

PRIMARY: 208.67.222.222
SECONDARY: 208.67.220.220


After test Connection you still get NAT Type 3 and The Speed download/upload wont show BUT!! you can play MULTIPLAYER ONLINE!! and game features like chat or voice chat etc. are not restricted.

I hope it work's with you and the others because it works with me and now i don't have a problem.

The BEST way to change your NAT Type is call your ISP. Thank you have fun.

kasi ngiging nat 2 siya minsan. pero minsan nat 3 naman. pno ba siya magiging stable sa nat 2 sir?
