Well, totoo na convenient ang download kasi day 1 pa lang (minsan midnight) available na para bilhin without having to leave your house. Kaya lang I buy most of my games online kasi mas maraming deals and I don't really mind not getting them day 1 since I'd rather get a good deal and save than just be able to play it early.

Tapos ang ayaw ko pa sa digital, it's the same price as the physical copy! Unlike sa ebooks na halos kalahati lang ng presyo ng ebook yung print copy so I'd consider that. Sa games hindi eh, minsan bumababa na yung presyo ng physical pero yung digital ganun pa din simula nung narelease.

onga same price kahit digital.. mga new release game $50+ din same sa hardcopy.. except lang siguro kung PSplus member.. sulit mga free game.. kagaya ngayon free yung demon souls sa PSN..

Syempre physical. One reason is because our download speed sucks. Mga patch pa nga lang na tig-500 MB+ nabubwisit na ako mag-antay, eh full game pa kaya.
Another reason is that you can keep the physical copy for collection and you can resell those you don't need.
And like you said, same price lang din halos yung digital sa physical. Pagkabili mo sa digital, di mo pa malalaro agad. Sa physical pagka-uwi mo or pagkadeliver pa lang, malalaro mo na agad.

sa akin lang mas favor ako sa digital kasi japan based ako atsaka easy access to r1 version no need to buy to amazon jp na medyo pricey sila when it comes to r1 version , every purchased ko ng games may kahati ako kaya malaking tipid uon. kung sa download no problem bilis ng net dito may 1 gbps na

same here, I don't have problems to people who like digital over physical, but the problem about digital era kung puro yan na lang ay may papalitan pa o mawala ( kung sakali ), like baka mawal na yung physical at ubligahin ang mga tao na mag digital, why not there's always 2 choices when it comes to entertainment things, you can buy digital or physical,whichever you want to, I think not all games ay availabe yan eh.

pate sa movies and music, yoko ng digital gusto ko may physical din. but that's just me.

internet connection sucks here and even na nagupgrade nako ng internet connection now using 5 mbps madalas hinde pa din tama eh, at nagkakaron pa din ng mabagal na speed and sometimes disconnection, kala ko nun hinde na. so for me kahit magandang connection physical over digital pa din ako anytime, no matter what the connection is.

^ Ako rin, kahit maging sobrang bilis ang internet speed...physical over digital parin ako.

Movies and music ok lang sakin digital (if you know what I mean ), pero games and books gusto ko physical.

Tsaka kasi madalas problema pa kung san ka magstore ng digital eh. Either malaki yung size ng game or minsan, pag gusto mo siya i-back up, malaki kinakain niya sa hard drive.

ahhh.. i realize this is a ps forum so medyo marami ngang physical ang preferred

for some pc gamers out there, the physical copy is just your copy of the game during the release date, which will become outdated in weeks / months

dagdag ko na nga din pala, gastos din sa hdd ang puro digital, mapapabile ka pa ng external or bagong hdd.

yan din isa sa pinaka ayaw kong dahilan. since movie,music, gamer col lectorako kekelanganin ko ng malalaking hdd.

yung insan ko nakakailang external hdd na.

pero kanya kanya yan, whichever you want, sana people can always choose digital or physical.

Physical ako pero not totally against digital. Ok naman ang digital lalo na for handields.

+1 easy access and convenience ang kailangan ko, and about storage its not a problem either you can delete the game and redownload again but it depends sa net mo, siguro naman di naman mawawala uon game na binili mo sa psn

depende sa game..

pag mga indie games like Limbo, rocketbirds, flower, soundshapes etc sige digital ako kasi digital release lang naman talaga sila, at siyempre pag small size lang

pero if mga disc based games lalo na pag malaki ang size, like Uncharted, gow, asscreed3 etc..
siyempre physical ako, bakit ako mag titiyaga i-download mga unnecessary big sized games na pagkalaki-laki
saka isa pa sa ps3 yung ibang games you can't download while playing a game hassle

I agree na depende sa game.

And sa akin may mga big size games na ok din na physical example yung dj max technika. Mas ok siya for me na digital para mas accesible. Paramdg kungwari asa labas ako and nag lalaro ng soul sac tapos medyo naumay ako in a jiffy pwede ako mag switch agad sa dj max na hindi na meed magpalit ng cart.

i support digital pero di lahat hehe same goes to hard copies as well

either way my vote goes sa depende sa game kung ano talaga mas ok for my gaming needs hehe

maganda sa digital quick buy, pero hangang itunes apps lang ako kasi collector ako, i never bought any single console game on digital even the PC games i won't. I wan't to see all my game on the box within my book shelves.

Lately napaparami bili ko ng digital copies.

Nawala na yung collector mentality ko ever since I sold most of my games.

I'm gonna buy the Walking Dead sa PSN for 14.99.
