CD Projekt RED debunks Cyberpunk 2077’s latest development & post-launch support rumored troubles
A rumor surfaced last week, suggesting that CD Projekt RED had major troubles with Cyberpunk 2077’s post-launch development and overall support. However, the team has responded to that rumor, claiming that it is false.

Let’s start with the rumor. A forum member of GameFAQs shared some comments from a supposedly disgruntled developer. According to the forum post, major content was cut from the game. Moreover, the forum post claims that CDPR is planning on a No Man’s Sky comeback, and that the first major patches will come out in mid-March (and not in January).

“CDPR hurt themselves to keep investors safe and sound. Now devs are hearing plans of a “No Man’s Sky” style comeback due to late June. The first two patches should come out mid-March, despite what’s been said by top execs. There will be major departures from the studio in the coming months. Dev morale is on an all time down and Sony is roasting our asses due to the gigantic volume of refund requests. There will be a meeting today with Sony execs to figure out a way to compensate players threatening with legal action. Sony Japan is specially furious.”

CD Projekt RED’s employee Vattier stated on the official CDPR forums that this rumor was false.

“We usually do not comment on rumours, but this is simply not true.”

So, right now, the official word is that this rumor is false. Therefore, this basically means that the post-launch support is going as planned. As such, we can expect the first major patches in January. Moreover, the first free DLC will also arrive in early 2021.

Of course, this could be damage control and nothing more. However, and at this point, we can’t really verify the identity of that CDPR employee. So yeah, this rumor appears fishy (at least for now) so we’ll give CDPR the benefit of the doubt.

In a way, swerte yun mga nakakuha ng refund pero hindi sinoli yun mga game. Yun iba nga, collectors edition pa yun nasa kanila pa rin.

Gabe Newell talks about Cyberpunk 2077 and sympathizes with CD Projekt
Valve's Gabe Newell really doesn't need an introduction; the man Valve, Steam, Half-Life and more spoke about what happened with Cyberpunk 2077, the most anticipated game in recent years.

Newell mentions he believes that such harsh criticism is not fair as it is a very ambitious game. He also thinks that CD Projekt will win back the trust of the players. Of course, you needed to within into this story that that Cyberpunk 2077 is a title selling at steam for 60 EURO, and Valve grabs 30% of the take.

“All I know is that there are a lot of very happy gamers in the PC space, who are the most visible to us (Valve). There are aspects of the game that are simply brilliant and show a tremendous amount of work. It's unfair to throw rocks at the developer because just getting something as complex and ambitious as that is pretty amazing, ”Newell mentioned of Cyberpunk 2077.

Newell added that "they have a long history of doing things right, of continuing to invest in their products for years and I suspect they will do very well to make their customers happy over time."


Also, as promised, CD Projekt RED has released the first major update for Cyberpunk 2077. Patch 1.1 is 1.1GB in size (apparently the Steam patch is 5.4GB, much larger than the GOG patch), it solves some issues with stability, solves mission bugs, and is now available for download. Going into more detail, this update addresses the issue of cache-related startup crashes on NVIDIA graphics cards. It also improves memory usage on various systems within the game. CD Projekt RED will continue this work in patch 1.2 and other upcoming updates detailed in its roadmap. At the same time, we will continue to fix bugs and listen to the community on how to improve the overall game experience.

Stability


Various stability improvements including:

* Memory usage improvements in various systems within the game: characters, interactions, navigation, game videos (news, television, etc.), foliage, laser effects, minimap, devices, artificial intelligence, street traffic, system of environmental damage, related to the GPU, and more.
*Various bug fixes (related, among others, to loading saved games, opening / closing the game, and Point of No Return).

Missions / Open world

*Fixed an issue where Delamain's calls would immediately end and appear to be unattended in the Epistrophy mission.
*Fixed an issue where players were not receiving calls from Delamain when approaching relevant vehicles in Epistrophy mission.
*Fixed an issue where the target could get stuck on "Answering Mr. Hands's Call" in M'ap Tann Pèlen.
*Fixed an issue where Judy could teleport underground in the Pyramid Song mission.
*Fixed an issue where it was impossible to speak to the Zen Master in the Poem of the Atoms quest.
*Fixed an issue where Takemura would not call in the Down on the Street mission.
*Fixed an issue where Jackie could disappear in The Pickup mission.
*Fixed an issue where it was impossible to get out of the car in The Beast in Me: The Big Race mission.
*Fixed an issue where players could stop receiving calls and messages after straying too far from the One Day in the Life quest area.
*Fixed an issue where opening the package would not update the Space Oddity mission.
*Saved games affected by a rare issue where talking to Judy in the Automatic Love mission would be impossible due to an invisible wall has been retro-fixed. The underlying problem is under investigation.
*Fixed an issue that prevented players from collecting the reward on Gig:
*Freedom of the Press. The quest will be completed automatically for those who were unable to get the reward previously, and the reward will be provided automatically.
*Fixed an issue where Delamain would remain silent during the Epistrophy mission if the player initially refused to help him.

UI

*Fixed an issue where the prompt to exit Braindance could be missing.
*Invalid item removed from loot.

Visual

*Fixed an issue where the trajectory of a grenade could be displayed in mode.
*Fixed the hue of the particles appearing pink when viewed up close
*Fixed cars appearing incorrectly in the Reported Crime: Welcome to Night City mission.

Achievements

*Fixed an issue where completing one of the raids in progress in Santo Domingo would sometimes not contribute to the La Jungla mission achievement progression, preventing its completion.

Various

*Fixed issue responsible for saves becoming oversized (related to modifier indicating if item is manufactured) and removing excess size of already existing saves (note: this will not fix previously corrupted PC save files update 1.06).
*Fixed an issue where controls could stop registering when opening the weapon wheel and taking an action.
*Fixed an issue where the "Continue" button in the main menu could load an ending save game.

PlayStation specific

*Crowd performance optimization on PlayStation 4 Pro and PlayStation 5.
*Various crash fixes on PlayStation 4.

Xbox specific

*Improved memory usage for character creation, mirrors, scanning, camera remote, menus (inventory, map) on Xbox One, Xbox One X, and Xbox One S.

PC specific

*It will now be possible to earn achievements in Steam's offline mode. Note: Offline mode must be enabled before starting the game. This change does not work retroactively.
*Fixed game launch crashes related to cache loading on NVIDIA graphics cards.

Magagawan din nila yan ng pataan eventually pag wala nang cyberbugs hahaha

Ang ganda ng main missions nito pati side missions ok din hindi boring

Check out these Filipino references in Cyberpunk 2077
To create Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt RED tapped several Filipino studios, including Secret 6, Pixel Mafia, and Syngergy 88. Given that Pinoy developers helped bring Night City to life, it should come as no surprise that Cyberpunk 2077 features several Filipino references that are peppered throughout the game world.

In case you have yet to play the game, or haven’t seen them yet in-game, here’s a quick rundown of the Filipino references that we spotted in Night City:
Kabayan Foods

First shown back in 2018 in the game’s 48-minute walkthrough, Kabayan Foods is a sight that will definitely catch the eyes of Pinoy players. In fact, the big Kabayan Foods sign can be spotted just outside of V’s apartment building in Little China, a place that players will see very early into the game. This is just an advertisement though, as a real Kabayan Foods outlet is located just a short walk away.

This Kabayan Foods restaurant is sadly closed. Though there are more Kabayan Foods outlets in other Night City districts. In fact, there’s even a Kabayan Foods restaurant that players can actually enter.


Matapang Coffee

Near the Kabayan Foods sign in front of V’s apartment, players can spot a billboard that advertises Matapang Coffee—matapang being the Filipino word for brave. Eagle-eyed players will also spot more ads for Matapang Coffee in Night City aside from this one.

Aside from ads, there are even Matapang Coffee consumable items in the game which V can drink to increase max Stamina and regen.


Isawan 2077

Throughout Night City, players will come across various food stalls, all serving different types of food from all over the world. Some stalls, such as this one in Kabuki, feature what seems to be isaw!

While players won’t be able to order a stick (or more) of isaw in the game, it’s great to see a beloved Filipino snack food in the game.

In case you’re unfamiliar, isaw is a popular snack in the Philippines that’s made of barbecued chicken intestines.


Pinoy Mobs?

In the game, you’ll come across various gangs, including the Japanese Tyger Claws. While in a skirmish against some Tyger Claws gangsters, we were surprised to hear one of them scream “P***NG INA” at the top of his lungs!

While this might mean that the Tyger Claws have Filipino members, this could also just be a bug. Whatever the case, it’s definitely a funny moment!


Kerry Eurodyne

Finally, we have Kerry Eurodyne, a major character in the game that that is of Filipino descent. Kerry is a vocalist and guitarist of Samurai, Johnny Silverhand’s “chrome rock” band. Without getting into spoiler territory, Kerry is a major character in the game, and is a potential love interest for V.

Kerry Eurodyne is also mentioned in a shard called Glam Now!, and it mentions Kerry’s Filipino tattoos.

Right now, these are the Filipino references that we’ve spotted in Cyberpunk 2077. Given how large the game is though, there might even be more Pinoy references to see. So we’ll update this article if we see more!

Hindi meant talaga yung game para sa third person view. Meron ng gumawa ng mod para maging third person pero deformed yung model. So if ever gagawan nila eh malaking effort yan sa part ng nga devs.
