Ride to Hell still in development, news coming soon
Remember that Deep Silver biker game set in the 1960s?


Ride to Hell, Deep Silver’s 2008-announced biker game set in the 1960s, is still in development, Deep Silver senior communication manager Martin Wein has told Playnews.

According to Wein, news on the title will be available “in the near future.” LinkedIn profiles for Tom Leighton and Tristan Dyczkowski also list recent work on the title.

The game was initially announced for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. Amazon still has a listing up for the title, with a temporary December 31, 2013 release date.

Deep Silver has announced Ride to Hell: Retribution and Ride to Hell: Route 666 will be released in June.

Ride to Hell: Route 666 is developed by Black Forest Games and Retribution by Eutechnyx.

Ride to Hell: Retribution tells the story of Jake Conway who is out for revenge against a brutal biker gang called The Devil’s Hand, and in Route 666 players will recruit and lead a gang of bikers from Chicago to Los Angeles, fighting for every mile of the road “using both brain and brawn.”

Ride to Hell: Retribution, a full retail game developed by Eutechnyx, tells the story of lone rier Jake Conway, armed with either a gun or a girl, on a “mercileess” journey for revenge against a biker gang called “The Devil’s Hand.” He’s “armed to the teeth” with deadly weapons to “enact his vengeance on foota nd on bike.” The game is due out in North America on June 28.

Ride to Hell: Route 666, a download title developed by Black Forest Games, follows a gang of bikers from Chicago to Los Angeles down the legendary Route 66. Players will recruit a gang and ‘fight for every mile’ in a game comprised of “easy to understand tactics” combined with “fast-paced arcade combat.” The game is due out this June across download platforms.

The final game, Ride to Hell: Beatdown, is a “rock ‘n roll brawler” for mobile devices.
