Okay. Maybe people misunderstood my earlier posts. And it was wrong for me to say that voting for BF3 would be unwise. I was only stressing how much I disagreed with that choice. (Just a note: no where in my posts did I say, "Do not vote for BF3")

Now, to defend my stance. The game of the year should be a game that has the most polish and hits high on almost every category which makes a game great (e.g gameplay, story, graphics, sound, presentation, lasting appeal, etc.). GOTY isn't a popularity contest. More often than not, the most popular games hasn't done anything amazing or innovative.

BF3, like I said, is only "half a game" and to be blunt, does not warrant GOTY.

Just my two cents. Let the rage / flame commence.

Then maybe you should post in a REVIEW, not a POLL.
...and am i raging? oh... that's still the cool part of me... i wouldn't go BOOM on random people...

OPINIONS okay... e BF3 did hit high on sa gameplay, story, graphics, sound, presentation, lasting appeal, etc. e... so ano dapat i-vote ko, Uncharted 3? e di ko pa nga gaano nalalaro yun... ang dami kong games na magaganda... pero ang nilalaro ko lagi e BATTLEFIELD 3. ano sa OPINION mo ang dapat na i-vote ko? hindi mo nga sinasabi na wag i-vote ang BF3, pero sinasabi mo na mali maging GOTY ang BF3, so...

2. And you think it has great gameplay, story, presentation, etc. okay. I respect that. But I disagree with that.
2. I also didn't say voting for BF3 was wrong. Me disagreeing with something =/= Me saying that it's wrong; those are two different things.

From what I've been reading, all I can say is Mob mentality.

A person mentioned just because he plays a game everyday and likes he should vote for it.
Illogical, what if I play kid games and end up voting for them because I like them?

Biased too, a proper vote should be debatable, argued, and reasonable.
what people are doing is like they're voting their favorite actor for president


Honestly just make a proper poll with the game's strengths, we know BF3 has sh!t SP.
A Proper contender for goty should be balanced in MP (if available), SP, Gameplay, Storyline,
Graphics and Replay Value.
