PinoyPS Spring Cleaning - thread deletions

Hi peeps of PinoyPS.com!

I have just been notified by our hosting service that I have to lower the size of our database, otherwise our site will be shut down. So to prevent that, I will be cleaning up PinoyPS.com threads. Our plan is to do the following:

1. Clean up old threads. This would mean threads that has no activity for quite some time will be deleted.
2. Any thread in the buy and sell section that has no post for 14 days will be deleted. Also, NO MORE BUMPING. A bump on a thread would mean immediate deletion of the thread. If its your thread and you are the last poster and would want to add more information, edit your last post. If you post again, your thread is deleted.
3. We will be reviewing all forums and would probably clean up all threads. The priority for thread deletions will be the non-gaming related forums. Only as a last resort shall we start deleted old threads on games and PlayStation hardware.
4. I am seriously considering deleting chain threads. Chain threads really have no meaningful conversations but eat up a lot of database space. Some of our longest threads are on Speak Easy. They have a great chance of being deleted. We will keep threads with meaningful conversations, but not those on things like, "what are you wearing right now?" Those will definitely be deleted.
5. Just an FYI, your post counts will go down. Do not complain. If the reason you are here is because of your post count total, then you are out of luck. You will not change as a person if your post count total gets lower. The world will still be the same. Live with it.

^oo.

no choice bro. either we get rid of useless, pointless conversations, or isasara ng provider ang pinoyps.

They should be purged. :agree:

"jklm557" username ng spambot and and some example ng thread names na kumakalat is "eleven toughened" "myriad to root" "mouth, directly" - tsugihin na yan...
