Changing Address in Main Account Query

i don't know if this is possible, but is it okay if i change the address on my main PS3 account? i wanna change the city & state where i registered. although, what i'm using is valid (my grandma's house), i wanna change it to the states where internet services/purchases has no taxes.

i'm gonna buy psn cards pero i'm not sure if Chicago, IL address on my primary account (house ng lola ko) will charge me US sales tax. sayang bibili ako ng DLC ng assassin's creed 2 and baka mapunta lang sa tax yung remaining sa $20. yung US state address kasi yung primary account ng friend ko chinarge ng sales tax.

any suggestions, please? bibili ko sa mga sellers natin dito ng PSN card. go legit! besides, lumalabas pala sa facebook yun hehe

Hmm... di naman siguro. Madami-dami na rin ako nabili na DLC sa PSN, pero kung ano ang nakalagay na amount ng DLC online, yun lang ang kinakaltas sa credits na nilo-load ko sa "wallet" ng account ko.

Sa akin sa Florida. Address nung hotel na tinirahan namin nung nagbakasyon kami noon.

I think kapag gagamit ka ng PSN card, okay lang. Iba na siguro kapag credit card na ang pinagu-usapan. For one thing, kapag credit card, dapat valid yung address, and that dapat kapareho yun sa billing address, diba? Yun understandable kasi iniiwasan nila fraud...

Besides, hindi ba subjected na sa tax kapag bibili ng PSN card? Nagpabili lang kasi ako nung pumunta yung dad ko sa US, so hindi ko na naitatanong, pero hindi ba doble ang sales tax kapag may tax na yung pagbili mo sa card mismo...?

please close thread. i found the answer from 2 close friends & WIKIPEDIA!

Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire and Oregon all doesn't charge sales tax. no tax on sale made over the internet as well. now i know what state to use for my psn card.

pwede yan under account management option sa XMB. you can change pretty much everything about your account except your psn id. i changed the address of one of my US accounts to New Mexico before para walang sales tax.
