http://www.spin.ph/basketball/fiba/news ... ional-team
Barrios said Clarkson has expressed a 'strong desire' to play for the Philippine national team, the reason his old passport has been submitted to Fiba for eligibility purposes.
Think about it, Abueva + Norwood + Clarkson nasa backcourt or rotation nila sa SG at SF positions.

Sa PBA pabor ang laro kay Calvin coz of the physicality.. Eh sa FIBA di pwede yung level of physical play of PBA.

Eh di ayos.. Gilas muna si Parks bago siya mag-PBA while waiting opportunities sa NBA, pro or d-league. Then ipapasok si Clarkson if ever.

Expect future Gilas players will be coming from MVP teams pag wala pa rin magpahiram na ibang teams. It's a sort of a message of MVP's SBP to selfish teams and PBA itself.

"Ayaw nyo magpahiram?

Be it mag-tank sila sa standings or do a multiple team-trades. Unless pumasok sa expansion ang SM-BDO at Happee sa PBA whom Parks played for dati, they'll draft him 1st pick but i believe Mr.Sy of SM and Dr.Pedro of Happee are willing to lend Parks for Gilas since both of them are devoted sports patron/aficionado like MVP. Unlike SMC who prefers business above country's pride.

Well, baka wala kaya best advice to Parks is to at least maka-D-League siya or join Gilas, pampataas ng stock value nya while waiting his chances in NBA. He doesn't need to worry about PBA coz no matter what he do, 1st draft pick pa rin siya next year or the following year. Tropahin nya si Jordan Clarkson din hahaha..

MANILA, Philippines – Los Angeles Lakers guard Jordan Clarkson will not suit up for Philippine national basketball team anytime soon.

In an email, Mike Clarkson, Jordan’s father, cited timing as a factor in his son’s decision to pass on the chance to don the country’s colors, emphasizing Jordan’s current commitment with the Lakers in the NBA.

"Having Jordan participate with the Gilas in 2015 isn't a logical or sound business decision as he enters into this important NBA contract year,” the elder Clarkson wrote.

Jordan is in town and has started working out with the nationals, who are in the thick of preparation for some overseas tournaments, the most important of which is the 2015 FIBA Asia Championship next month.

Coach Tab Baldwin has included Clarkson in his 24-man pool for Gilas.

The 23-year-old guard’s visit to the country and the recent news that he possesses a Philippine passport fanned hopes of Filipino hoop aficionados that he will be able to reinforce Gilas.

But Mike Clarkson lamented that his son’s possible Gilas stint will come in conflict with his preparation for the next NBA season in October.

“As you know in professional sports, timing is of the essence especially when managing a players' career,” he continued.

“Unfortunately, the timing couldn't be worse as he prepares for rigors of the upcoming 2015-2016 NBA season and heightened performance expectations.”

Ang lakas ng mga pasabog ni Snow Badua laban kay Alfrancis Chua.. though di ko alam if ano papaniwalaan and masama din kasi ugali nitong si Snow Badua and madalas gumawa ng kuwento or rumor.. May pagka sensationalist journalist kasi.. tsaka bakit ngayon lang bigla nilahad after kumalat yung issue na may affair sila ni Abby Poblador..

Dahil diyan may hashtag na sila #AlPob

Moral Lesson, don't trust Mo Twister.

If the story is true about Alfrancis being the brains behind not allowing Junemar and co.not letting play for Gilas, what will he gained from SMC heads?
Either of the ff:
- he's the real brains behind it
- he's just being ordered by SMC management
- he's just the scapegoat for RSA

Chua man o hinde personally could care less for smc teams from that point on onwards.

Rooting for either meralco because of norman black and rabeh's return. Rabe claims his experience in kuwait did a lot of good for him as far his maturity and perspective in life is concerend. I want to see rabeh get his game on track because he really hasnt especially coming to the pba with high expectations.

Also rooting for tnt this season. Hopefully big difference ng tnt si mo against junemar.

PBA bans sports writer Snow Badua due to the #AlPob controversy.
My comment on this eh di ba dapat si Mo Twister mawalan ng trabaho dahil sa kanya nagsimula ang story di ba?
http://www.spin.ph/basketball/pba/opini ... a-to-media
Why did Badua get the PBA's goat?

A PBA official, requesting anonymity, intimated that some team officials present in that board meeting were fed up with articles that Spin.ph has dared run in the past. These presumably include the “farm teams” issue and game-fixing in the league, which we did run, precisely to give the professional teams a chance to air their side and address accusations constantly thrown at them by fans online.
Open secret ba.

At stake kasi dito aside from being smc honcho, head siya ng basketball coaches association of the philippines. Gaya nung kay noli ealam kaya siya natanggal before dahil sa extra marital affairs niya conflicted with his stature of being a commisioner.

Kahit walang koneksyon sa basketball per se, yung role niya as head of bcap ang in question dito.

Sa nba or any other professional league for the matter, hindi nila gagawin sa press yan. They will give due process to all parties involved at doon lang paparusahan yung reporter or writer kung guilty talaga sa pagsasabi ng slanderous material..
