Just the right/tolerable amount of screams in a song (at least for me) and the songs are in English.
One OK Rock songs sound a bit too pop to me, especially the ones in their latest album. The only album of OOR that I liked is Niche Syndrome. MY FIRST STORY has more of the sound I'm looking for, but I get the feeling that the lyrics of their songs are ones that teens would like. If only Taka from OOR wrote more songs like these for his band.
I thought BAND-MAID songs were idol-like
. Oh boy, was I wrong. Thing is I just can't get to like the vocalist's voice.
*edit: Miku Kobato (guitar/vocals) should've been the lead vocalist for this song. She starts singing at around 1:29.

Ang tumatak lang na One OK Rock sa akin yung The Beginning.
Ok yung Band-Maid a. Reminds me of Baby Metal pero hindi ganun ka-heavy. Saka Scandal pero konti lang narinig kong kanta nila.
