Hindi rin naman ganon. I didn't have to negotiate with anz, HSBC or the company I'm currently with ngayon but I'm very happy with the offer they gave.

Ah Feb ba? Oo meron nga. Sorry mali naisip ko hehe. Yung increase, sa three years ko dyan hindi ko naramdaman. Haha. Hehe. Ang saya ng Pasko ko nun. Haha.

well, halatang may mali ang ibex and hindi TEXT SPEAK VIOLATION nila inexpect na tatakbo sa media yung biktima kaya they decline to comment. Too late for damage control kasi naexpose na sila, malamang sa malamang areglo na mangyayari dyan.

Two reasons lang nakikita ko why the employer unjustly terminated the girl: either liability sya sa performance or they were thinking ahead na baka layasan lang din sila nung biktima later on so might as well unahan na (i really think its this one).

we all know that there is always due process and procedures in place for things like this kaso hindi naeexercise legally to the full extent. Im no HR expert pero sa mga pinagdaanang ko na company dito sa pinas appears that they simply they dont know what they''re doing - sample na dyan yung salary discrepancy or no remittance to pagibig/sss na hindi naman talaga dapat nangyayari, heck, I dont usually hear big companies having that kind of problem pero sa call center LOB lantaran ang ganitong practice.

This is usually what happens when they put unqualified people in their dept.

Still, being in the call center industry myself long enough to smell something is not right in this case, siguro there are certain criteria that they used to term the girl but then again, why did the management refused the media's invitation for a full disclosure on her case in the first place? Either they are hiding something or just simply too embarassed to save their faces.

well there are some factors like that issue should be internal ,or the way media presented the issue. even your not hiding something, being dragged to public in a not-so-favorable fashion is a PR nightmare for some companies. minsan kasi depende rin sa "personality" ng company and not just the employees na they are more private in terms on handling their problems.

but then if I'm going with your line of thinking there is a possibility na hindi lang sa particular agent na yung nangyari ang ganung kaso, maaaring yun din isang reason why they declined yung invitation.

now as for the payroll problems nangyayari din yan sa ibang maliliit na companies na hindi BPO. yung iba kasi kung sino yung admin, purchasing, custodian, filing clerk, bookkeeper, etc. sya rin ang payroll kaya over sa work

The thing is, if one would keep issues such as these as "internal" mababaon lang sa limot to and the victim would just continue to be victimized. Good thing she sought the help of the media and that would have definitely caught the attention of HR's everywhere.

i would understand if it was a small company but this is a BPO, a sizeable company who could not afford a bad publicity. No wonder locally established BPO's would prefer to be bought out for the reasons of having others inherit arising problems such as this.

If i were the media, I would stay on this story and see it unfold. Let us see how the the accused employer would defend themselves.

may NLRC naman tayo, not just media. at some point tama din ginawa nung agent para maging aware mga tao. yun lang, ang dapat maintindihan ng tao is that kapag ganyan ang kaso hindi sa media kundi sa NLRC.

also being bought by other companies, yan yung nagiging reason nung iba kaya naiiba yung benefits at policies nung company being absorbed. pero just to rmeind you na dapat hindi mabawasan or mag-level-down ang benefits. sa pinanggalinan ko, kung sino yung bumili sya pa nag-adapt dun sa benefits nung biniling company, ang rason daw mas malaki yung size (in terms sa tao) nila so majority daw, pero hindi dapat ganun, ako tahimik lang ako. if you read back , magka-officemate dati kami ni ampogiako yung beneftis namin sa leaves nag-diminish, bawal yun sa batas sa pagkakaalam ko

^one can only blame the phil. constitution bec of that.
