actually hindi dapat ganyan yung point.. the more a group of people believing (or not believing in something) gets "organized", it defeats the "point".. actually mahirap i-explain

lots of pinoys are actually "not religious" anymore.. it doesnt mean they are atheists too.. it's along the line of "i don't want to belong to a specific religion, i dont need a religion to have morals, i can think".. parang ganun.. which is usually misinterpreted to "ayaw mo lang magsimba"

these pinoys dont want to be called "atheists" or anything.. once kasi pinangalanan mo, or branded na, or binigyan mo ng "group", eh parang ganun na rin may religion na rin

hmm.. what's your take on the recent "words" from Pope Francis? it seems that yung mga sinasabi niya ngayon is close sa mga sinasabi nung mga "inaaway" dito sa thread.. and it's getting closer to the pinoy-majority mentality of religion too

Para sa akin, wala akong kontra sa ginagawa nila, as long as nagiging banal sila sa ginagawa nila. Sana lang wala silang naabalang tao: hindi nagkakalat, pakikinggan yung sinasabi ng pari (hindi pa raw tapos ang misa, nag-uumpisa na ang parada).

1. I subscribed to this idea before:

but it was shortlived. pero ang atheist ang hindi naniniwalang may God.

2. well depende sa karma.

1st, may karma na tipong kapag ninakawan mo yung isang tao tapos sa susunod ikaw naman mananakwan ng iba.
2nd, yung kasama ng reincarnation, kapag magnanakaw daw ngayon sa susunod na buhay mo putol daw ang kamay mo.
3rd, basic cause and effect. gawan mo ng mabuti ang isang tao, meron may tatanaw ng utang na loob, meron din hinde.

yung 3rd version ang pinaniwalaan ng Christian but definitely not using the word karma... "what you sow is what you reap" ang general term at yun ang naka-indicate sa bible.

edit: yung pinaka-karma ng Christian is that when you commit sin you are answerable to God.

Sa mga hindi naniniwala na may diyos.

Isang example namabibigay ko iyong si Satan, Lucifer, or Bad Spirits. For sure naman maraming videos or experience ng mga tao diyan na sinasapian or nagpaparamdam or paranormal experience. Panoorin ninyo iyong TV shows na Paranormal Witness ... bakit halos lahat ng mga na-inteview doon eh parang hindi naniniwala sa diyos or hindi pina-practice iyong religion nila. Hintayin muna nila na talagang makita nila in person or maraming maraming maraming beses muna nila ma experience iyong paranormal bago sila gumawa ng action. Hindi ba stupidity iyon? So ayon pa lang alam mong may bad spirits that can touch or possess you. Clue na iyon na you need to do something or do some actions ... but they don't know what to do? Duh! baka siguro try mo munang mag-pray kay H.F. or J.C.

Syempre kung may demon, merong Jesus Christ or God or Heavenly Being. The proof is diba after these people witness the paranormal event in their lives ... kanino sila humihingi ng tulong? Hindi ba sa Pastor, Priest or read the Bible or mentioned the name of Jesus Christ ... mostly naman na resolved. The key is mentioned the name of Jesus Christ ... dahil sabi sa bible John 14:6 " "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" pero sad to say hindi nila ginagawa eto. Iyong hahamunin mo iyong Demon or Bad Spirits at sasabihin mo na magpakita ka ... that is a No No!

the fact na merong absolute truth nagpapatunay na na merong Dyos.

ako i am not afraid to say that i don't believe in religion at all and i stand firm on this claim. i wouldnt care if people see me less bec of my personal belief.

..and at the risk of getting flamed or whatevs - here are my reasons: i dont need to, i dont want to and i simply just get nothing out of it.
