Hi, nagpalit kasi kami ng isp kaya eto:

Originally kasi hindi "daw" talaga pwede i-setup para sa router ang modem ng easter (yeah, right!)

Sa wakas, after 2 weeks na pangungulit, tinulungan na nila ako i-setup yung router para sa eastern isp.

Pinabago nila sakin yung settings ng router:


LAN

IP Address: 192.168.2.1
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

WAN

Static IP

IP Address: 192.168.1.3
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1

Primary DNS: 192.168.1.1


Gumana na yung router kaso naging NAT3 yung PS3! :wah:

I've heard some not so good things from Eastern. Hmm... too bad NAT3. It could be because yung modem mo is a modem-router and they control the settings, same like what Globe and Digitel does.

NAT 3 nga. Sa umpisa maganda performance pero lately mas mabilis pa yung smartbro 900 kesa sa evo 1.5k
Hindi ko alam kung bakit napaka trivial para sa eatern yung modems nila kasi pwede nila naman switch to bridging imbes na routing yung modem tapos wag gamitin na default dns yung gateway. Ayun na, pwede na sa router!

@dorae Hindi ko pa rin tinatapos yung contract ko sa smartbro kasi nga hindi kami sure sa performance ng eastern. Sa ngayon binabayaran lang namin smartbro kasi may deal kami sa eastern na hindi kami magbabayad hanggat hindi umaabot ng 1.2mbps yung speed. :rofl:

Can you try to run a speedtest using a server in the US and check the latency/ping?

I read somewhere that their latency is the best (I mean least) so that's good for gaming.
