hi dummy- pareho lang siguro as long as madami kyo asian nag lalaro sa R1 ok na din since karamihan lahat ng naglalaro ng cod4 R1 din kinuha:)

mga guru ask ko lang....

PS3 NTSC-J owner here....ano ba dapat kunin ko na region?

and example pag naka R1 cd hindi ba natin makakalaro yun mga naka R3 cd

in online?kung baga per region ang base sa online so lahat ng naka R1 lang

ang nagkakasama sa online ganun ba yun?

im not a guru but ill try to answer. :)

its safe to get the same region as your PS3 unit in cases na ordinary TV ang gamit mo. pero pag naka HDMI monitor ka na. wala ka na problema sa output ng PS3 mo in case there is an incompatible video output.

with regards sa online gaming ng MGS4. so far wala pang nagpopost ng abnormality, meaning kahit siguro R1 ang bilhin mo. you can still play online. but that is for now. kasi puwedeng mag ban ng IP ang konami having their own online network.

thanx for the fast reply...sir upon checking my ps3 manual
nakalagay ay region 3 and ALL....but yun 2 games ko which is GT5 and GTA4 ay region 1 naka ordinary tv lang ako (as of now :-D ) wala naman ako problem sa output and sa online

sir ano reason if ma ban yun IP?

If they find that the lag is so bad that it affects all players they might ban an "out of region" IP.

depende pa rin yan. kasi may mga na ban sa PSN accounts pero yung accounts lang ang naapektuhan. hindi yung unit nila ng PS3 so gagawa lang panibagong account at pasok ulit. ang problema na lang ay yung credit sa account. pero puwede mo sulatan ang sony for your rebut. minsan binabalik nila yung credit. minsan hindi. ayaw din sabihin ng sony about the merits of the ban.

wala pa akong nabalitaang na ban na sony unit sa PSN.

but KONAMI is a different story now that they have their own network. time will tell.

last night, when im playing MGO. parang mga US accounts yung kalaro ko. meron ding mga strange names which are similar sa mga asian accounts.

i have no other way of telling. ang dami kasing naglalaro. sa spawning pa lang. may nakaaabang nang mga baril sa akin.

madalas nasa loob na ako ng kahon (standard equipment). :D the only time na tumatagal ako sa battlefield. :-)

I asked because the US beta of MGO blocks IP addresses outside the US. I hope the full version doesn't because if it does... sucks to be me.
