may na-come across ako na phishing sa yahoo na pinoy. tinatagalog ka pa, kaya baka akala mo kaibigan mo, wag mag paloko

papalogin ka nya sa site na akala mo yahoo mail o flickr, wag gawin. kung hindi makukuha nya password mo, say goodbye na sa yahoo account mo.

pag may makuha sila isang tao, login agad sa YM nun, tapos kunin mo lahat ng contacts nun. tapos gamit ka naman ng ibang account, biktimahin mo naman yung mga contacts nung tao na yon. and so on and so forth

hindi naman sila makakagawa ng fake a YM page na login kasi application na naka install sa hard drive mo ang YM

unlike yahoo mail at flikr na pupunta ka sa isang website. kinukuha nila mismo yung website tapos lalagay sa site nila yung fake login. pag nag login ka, dadalin ka naman talaga sa website ng yahoo pero at the sametime i-ma-mail sa kanila yung username at password mo. yari na yahoo account mo nun

It's easy to detect kung fake yung Yahoo! login page na mapupuntahan mo (if ever clinick mo yung link na binigay nila).

Dapat laging may xxxx.yahoo.com yung original. Kung hindi ganito, sure ka na fake login page yun. :)

Or, use View Page Source (Ctrl+U sa Firefox) or select Properties when you right click a webpage to see the URL related to the site you are in. If it's not anything from Yahoo, then it's a fake. :)

Wow, nauuso yang mga yan sa y!m. Tuwing naglo-log in ako puro nalang warnings ang PM sa akin ng friends ko saying "don't add [user id] as a friend...". Nag-evolve na sila from e-mail phishing to y!m.

Thanks for the warning.

its not an issue about adding someone

ang problema kasi pag na-hijack na yung account ng friend mo, akala mo friend mo yung kausap mo pero in reality its the hacker

etong latest na na-encounter ko pinoy pa kasi tagalog at text speak ang gamit
