Super Mario Run announced for iOS

Image Image

Nintendo made a surprise appearance at Apple’s iPhone 7 media briefing today to announce Super Mario Run, Mario‘s smartphone debut coming first to the iOS App Store in December. Users will be able to download a portion of the game for free, and can unlock all of the game content after paying a set purchase price.

The game is an runner where Mario automatically runs to the right of the screen. As he does, he’ll hurdle small gaps and certain enemies. The longer you press the screen, the higher he jumps, which is key to getting high scores. In later levels, you’ll see blocks that will change Mario’s direction and start and stop with specific timing. There is also a new “Toad Rally” mode, where players can choose an opponent from a list and try to beat their high score, and a mode in which players can create their own Mushroom Kingdom based upon those play results.

Here’s the full overview, via the Super Mario Run App Store page:

In this game, you constantly move forward through the courses while using a variety of jumps to navigate. Your character will behave differently depending on the timing of your taps, so it’s up to you to show off particularly smooth moves, gather coins, and reach the goal.

Super Mario Run offers three different game modes:

The first mode features challenging courses for you to complete.
In the second mode, you challenge the play data of other people’s completed courses. You compete to see who can finish the course with the most style!
In the third mode, you can create your own Mushroom Kingdom using coins collected by playing the first two game modes.
In addition to Super Mario Run, Nintendo is preparing a free Super Mario-themed sticker pack for iMessage that will launch day and date with the release of iOS 10.

Finally, Nintendo announced that its previously announced Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem smartphone games, which were planned for release this fall, are now due out before March 31, 2017.

I honestly liked the new iPhone 7 for one simple reason: 1.8 aperture :2thumbs:

Yep. Mukha ngang madali ma-scratch ang Jet Black.

Specs hte iPhone 7 at 7 Plus:

Medyo hindi ko nga makita difference sa specs, other than screen size at resolution.

Btw, a bit off-topic: With thte recent fiasco of the Note 7, mukhang naglilipatan mga buyer sa S7 Edge kasi tinitignan ko sa site nung isang local carrier, panay 'Out of Stock' na rin! Baka ma-Out of Stock din agad itong iPhone 7 series sa release month.

bakit ba kailangan pang alisin yung headphone jacks? ang sagwa talaga tignan haha. paraan ba nila yan para makabenta lagi ng lightning connector dahil madali masira?

If it wasnt for the headphone jack adapter included in the box, for sure madaming aalma sa pag alis ng headphone jack. Kasi kung hindi nila sinama yun it would look like apple is forcing users to buy unnecessary add-on's for the phone when it's supposed to be included already. Looks like apple's courage has its limitations after all.

May limit ang durability ng mga yan due to constant use with wear and tear.

I can skip iphone 7 just like what I did with 6 and SE pero kasi gandang ganda ako sa camera ng 7, for the first time naka-achieve ng 1.8 aperture yung apple sa camera nila.

I don't really dig the airpods due to practicality reasons, mas madali mawala tapos kelangan mo pa icharge? walang kwenta.

Launch Day Reaction Mixed as iPhone 7 Shipping Estimates Improve but Some Reservations Turned Away
iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus launch fever has officially reached the U.S. and Canada, with the first pre-order deliveries and in-store availability beginning around 8:00 a.m. from coast to coast. Despite limited to no iPhone 7 Plus or iPhone 7 in Jet Black stock, long queues have still formed at many Apple retail stores in both countries.

Apple Eaton Centre in Toronto, for example, still had hundreds of people waiting in line, with separate queues for those with reservations and walk-in customers. Local news reporters said the iPhone 7 Plus was initially available, despite Apple's statement otherwise, but stock had depleted before 9:00 a.m. local time.

Customers relentless in their search for an iPhone 7 Plus have attempted to visit resellers like AT&T, Best Buy, and Target only to be disappointed, as supply of the 5.5-inch model is virtually nonexistent in any stores on launch day. Apple preemptively warned that demand would outstrip supply as usual, and it has not specified when iPhone 7 Plus and Jet Black availability will improve.
*SNIP!*
