Need madevelop si Ricci Rivero to a go to guy, ala Jeron Teng.

It was a good loss...i think dlsu needed this wake up call to let them know that even if they are the dominant team, they are still as vulnerable as any other team in the league. Better they lose now than when it really matters later in the season.

imo di hamak na mas magaling si ricci rivero kaysa kay jeron.. jeron relies too much sa pakikipagbanggan eith the defenders.. while ricci also have a strong upper body pero may finesse yung movements.. si jeron puro spin move then barrel towards the defenders.. and mas maganda shooting form ni ricci..

^ Base on that, imo mas ok skills ni Jeron kasi mas mataas chance makakuha ng foul. Si Ricci kasi umiiwas sa defenders using side/euro step kaya bihira foul sa kalaban.

Ricci needs to develop into a go to guy, yung tipong "akin na bola ako na bahala".

About Ben Mbala, hindi ko alam kung nagrereserve siya ng lakas sa playoffs or wala lang siya gana. Mas impressive at dominant siya Afro Basket (FIBA Africa) kesa ngayon sa UAAP. I think kahit papano kaya niya mag ala-Lebron on attacking the basket. He has the size, strength, and speed. Pwede siya na kumuha ng inbound tapos coast to coast attack the basket.

imo, no.. madali ma check yung spin move ni deron.. advantage ni jeron medyo malaki and malakas katawan niya for his position dito sa pilipinas.. pero kaya i solve ng malaking defender like mac belo.. even si ron denison nababantayan si jeron wag lang sa open court while on full throttle.. and i can't really say na malawak skill set ni jeron.. bread and butter niya yung drive then spin move.. itong ricci madami pwedeng gawin to score a basket compared to jeron..

Wow..what an upset by DLSU last week to setup a regular final four! Even then, parang mas kita na consistent at dominating ang laro ng ADMU...if it not for MBala, malamang malayo ang score sa naging real outcome nung laro. Still a very good game and I hope to see more of the same pagdating ng finals!

Ganda ang future ng DLSU sa mga current players nila. Gustong gusto ko yung tandem ng Rivero bros...sana mas mag mature pa yung laro nila and makapagdala pa sila ng championship uli!

Na-UE ang LPU. 10 years ago UE swept eliminations but lost 0-2 in the finals.

Sunday: Gutsy win by FEU against ADMU to force rubber match later!

Very satisfying yung season ng FEU for me.. di lang players nag improve along the way kundi pati coach.. and ok ang match up ng DLSU and ADMU ngayon so very entertaining ang finals kahit di fan ng ADMU and DLSU..

Kelan game 1? Mukhang gusto makabawi ng ADMU sa DLSU from last year ah...
