If P2500 means 8mbps... I'm sold.A new Thai-based satellite broadband provider, IPStar, is now offering broadband internet anywhere in the Philippines for as low as $49 a month.
Last Thursday, IPStar revealed their commercial offering for satellite internet with starting packages (IPSTAR BigSky) as affordable as $49/month (Php2,500). Higher plans are available for bigger bandwidth.
The Phillipine gateway of IPSTAR is located at Angeles Industrial Park, Pampanga as seen on the photos above.
Downstream speeds are estimated to reach 8Mbps with upstream speed of 4Mbps. Not sure how much that one would cost you.
