Career options:
1. Become a DBA, get a chance to study abroad (Japan!), get a cool title, it is also related to your College course. But less extra perks, and no more possibility to travel anywhere in the Philippines.
OR
2. Wait for the the newly established office. Do the same work that you've been doing for a decade, but this time, you're alone and the only one who knows the specific job description. So you will have to teach/cascade/mentor the people around you so that eventually, they will do the stuffs that you can do. The problem is, what if they cannot catch up to you and in the end, you will do all the work that should be doing by your peers. You can still get some extra perks. There is still the possibility to travel anywhere in the Philippines but the chance to study abroad (Japan!) is zero.
