1st time ko lang makalaro ng Ace Combat. Tanong ko lang, ganun ba talaga graphics nyan? Parang HD version ng PS2 ang dating.
I know it's free pero napansin ko lang naman.

Expert for me, kaunting practice lang sa simula but you'll get the hang of it. Ang laki kasi ng difference sa maneuver ng dalawang config.

Unfortunately, yes, ganyan talaga siya. In my opinion, mas ok ang graphics nung AC6.

What the hell? I've been playing this game ever since its release and now I always get this "no room was found" error every time I'm searching for rooms and this was since 2 weeks ago. Any idea about this guys? Can you still play it without this damn problem? My ISP is sky broadband btw. Thanks.

I'm also getting this problem now and then even after I port forward my ps3 sa pldt modem router. I just restart my PS3 whenever I encounter the "Failed to connect", "connection to host was lost" and "No rooms found" and pray I will connect on my next start up... It's been a terrible experience indeed >_<

I dunno if this will work for you too, but whenever I close my torrent client, i get a slight boost in "chance" of connecting...("chance" still play a big role sa ISP natin dito sa pinas T_T)

@PrinnyDood: In the long run kasi kailangan ko mag-purchase ng total of 50 planes and parts for the trophy kaya iniisip ko na bilhin ko na rin yun Growler. Pero napansin ko nga na yun ECM nya ay 3 lang ang bala? Ano ba yun ECM?
Also, mas angat ng konti sa lahat ng stats si Growler kesa sa Super Hornet at mas mataas ang limit nya for equippable parts. Pero ang price nya ay 250K? hmmm.. with 200K pwede ko na ma-unlock yun 3rd campaign mission or buy the other low-tier planes and parts. Decisions, decisions.

Nababagalan ako sa Super Hornet. Na-miss ko tuloy si poging Tomcat. At saka wala pa ibang paint si Super Hornet, si Tomcat may mga paints na.

Kapag binili ba yun unlimited campaign DLC ay pwede mag-farm ng credits by repeatedly finishing the campaign missions? Nakalimutan ko na kung nagbibigay ng credits yun 1st and 2nd missions nung natapos ko sila.

@deathzero23: Standard controls gamit ko. 1st time ko rin maglaro ng Ace Combat and so far na-eenjoy ko siya. Kung maglabas ng disc version nito without the waiting time for the fuel replenishment ay malamang bibili ako nito.

@h-buster: Na-e-encounter ko yan kapag Nat 3 ang connection ko. Kaya kapag maglalaro na ako nito, nakaka-ilang reset muna ako ng modem para maka-tyempo ng Nat 2 connection. Pero kahit Nat 3 ako nakaka-create pa rin ako ng room pero matagal mapuno ng players. Either mag-close yun room or ma-disconnect yun mga sumasali sa room ko.

Also, baka naka-wifi connection ang PS3 mo, try mo direct cable connection para mas reliable connection (less chance for interference?)

I got the F-14A-Zipang!
Kaso nanibago ako nung ginamit ko ito. Gamitin ko na lang siya sa Moby Dick missions.
Pero dahil sa medyo madami na ako parts na nabili at limited lang ang equippable parts ni F14A-Zp, hindi niya ma-equip lahat ng mga nabili ko. Kaya balik ako kay Super Hornet.

As it's true that mas mataas ang growler vs s.hornet. But since makukuha mo na ang f-18 ahead ng growler, you'll be able to upgrade the hornet first bago makuha ang growler. I had this experience before na may kakampi ako na high level mig-21 (probably lvl 7 above) napa tameme yung kalaban namin na su-35 dahil palaging KS yung MiG at siya pa ang naging mvp sa battle. Nakakaasar na nakakainis kahit kakampi ko siya.

ECM is for jamming enemy missiles, useless against units with SAAM (aka sniper units: f-14, f-18f super hornet, etc).

I wouldnt recommend unlocking the campaign using credits or buy the unli campaign ticket kasi hindi worth ang credits na nakukuha sa campaign (S rank only nets around 900 credits sa mission 5), kaya go for upgrading the plane you're using and minimize unlocking unnecessary tree branch. napaka biased ng F-22 branch kasi nasa kanila lahat ng firepower upgrade (missile dmg+, gun dmg+, homing+)

A buddy of mine confirmed that na dumadami ang equipment slots (hindi yung parts equippable na limit ay 8 parts) kapag umapak ng lvl 6 or higher ang plane.

I also had problem logging yesterday. Grabe connection kaubos pasensya.

After 2 restarts ng modem and ps3, I still waited for another 20mins to find a room and more than 9mins sa room, eto lang ang mangyayari.

Ok, I've decided na wag na muna bilhin yun Growler. Mag-focus na lang muna ako sa pag-unlock and buy ng parts until maging available for purchase ko na si F-35B.
Bale ang direction ko na ngayon ay buy parts for Super Hornet. Upgrade the S. Hornet kapag hindi na kaya makapag-equip pa ng parts.
And most likely hindi ko na gagamitin si Tomcat and Zipang kasi mapag-iiwanan na sila sa stats.
May nakalaro ako kanina naka Harrier lang siya while lahat kami ng team namin ay Fighters/Multirole. And guess what, siya ang naging MVP.

Yun pala ang ECM. Hindi ko mapapakinabangan pala yan. Stick with Hornet na lang ako. Sayang ginamitan ko pa naman ng aircraft parts yun Growler para maging available agad siya.

I also made a mini-roadmap for this game in getting all the trophies, just in case lang na may interested.

Step 1: Complete the flight tutorial for a trophy.

Step 2: Finish the Campaign Missions 1 and 2 since they are free.
- Get the trophy after finishing the 1st campaign mission.

Step 3: Do Online Co-Op missions to get the trophies related to:
> play the 5 different maps
> get awarded MVP in a match
> participate in an Emergency mission
> shot down 3000 aircrafts
> destroy 3000 ground targets
> upgrade a plane to level 5
> purchase a total of 50 planes and aircraft parts
> 10 million total credits earned
> ranked up to Colonel

Step 4: With sufficient credits on-hand, purchase and finish the rest of the Campaign Missions to get the trophy related to finishing the campaign missions.

^ Marami din ang nagsasabi na mas rewarding pa daw sa kanila yun 3rd bracket prizes because of the research parts. Madali naman kitain credits pero yun research parts can only be earned from challenges and random drops. Parehas naman ata tayo hindi A-10 user kaya useless din ang skin.

Dito naman sa F14 - Wardog event, you can win the plane if you placed among the top 1-1000 players and by using the F14-Tomcat or the F14-Zipang. Level 2 lang parehas yun Tomcat and Zipang ko.

No. Hindi rin ako sasali sa F14 WD event na ito. Nagkataon lang na natuwa ako sa Tomcat and Zipang noon kaya napa=level up ko sila ng 2. Pero I'm still sticking with my Super Hornet. May naka-reserve na ako 500K credits at nag-iipon na ako ng Aircraft Research Parts. Naka-abang na sa pagbili ng F-35B.

Without spending real money into this game, I have finally purchased the F-35B Lightning II.
Kaso ang bagal niya dahil sa Level 1 pa lang siya. O baka kasi nasanay ako sa Level 5 Super Hornet ko?
Next goal ko naman ay i-level up siya kahit hanggang lvl 5 lang muna.

Stick ka nalang muna sa f-18f sir, use it hanggang mag lv3 ang f-35. I'm really confused kung ano ang kukunin ko na final plane. but I guess i'll use my f-18 till lv10, although hindi ko gusto yung 3rd sp weap niya.

Lvl 2 na F-35B ko and so far nakaka-MVP ako sa mga lower rate matches (1500 and below) kaso hindi kami nakaka-S rank. Na-miss ko rin yun 4AAM ng Super Hornet.

Buti naman at gumanda-ganda na ang connection mo. I think nag-refer din ako sa site na yan para maayos yun port forwarding ng connection ko. Globe ang ISP ko, 2mbps. Madalas na ako nakaka-Nat 2. kapag bukas ko ng PS3 at hindi Nat 2, reset ko lang modem ko and usually nagiging Nat 2 na agad.

Ok yun ginawa nila reward sa pag-gamit ng F14 series. Fly with an F14 once a day and may replenished 3x supplied fuel once a day.
Kaya ginagawa ko, ay ginagamit ko si F-35B, then kapag 1 supplied fuel na lang ay si F-14 naman gagamitin ko para ma-replenish si 3x supplied fuels.
