Meron po ba dito tiga Taytay na SmartBro user? Di pa ako nakapag online play sa PS3, puro download lang ginagawa ko. Madalas kasi DC ako or super lag. Canopy user plan 999 here. Palmera 4 area. Ano yung NAT 3 na sinasabi nila? Di ako maka-relate hahahaha!

ayun 0.20mbps ang dl speed ko kahapon pa, pano mo nalaman na 15GB ang cap? tumawag ako sa *1888 tinanong ko kung bakit buagal, FUP daw tapos tinanong ko sakanya kung ilang gig ang cap, hindi daw nila alam. binigay nalang sakin tong http://pldthome.com/mybroFUP na inexplain na niya sakin tapos pinabasa pa sakin, asar na asar ako.



sana kinalahati nalang yung speed kesa naman sa ganyan, 240p sa youtube pa hinto hinto pa kahit off peak.
fair ba talaga yan? inalok pa ko mag upgrade ng 3mbps myDSL 1999 per month, wala daw FUP yun sa ngayon. mukhang kinukunan na ng PLDT ang mga customer ng smart, monoply begins..

kailan pa nag start yung bagong FUP? kaya pala &*^!@*&!^%$%!@ bagal ng connection ko, antipolo town proper, parehas kami ni Jesper na ~0.2mb/s ang DL speed. Tumitino lang (0.5-1mb/s) pag 1am-7am. tengene talaga. Nag start 'to around holy week

gizmo sakin talaga ayaw umakyat ng 0.2mbps, transfer rate ng dl ko sa idm 8-30kbps lang.

owned na ba ng pldt? nagtanong ako sa customer support ng pldt tungkol sa canopy ko, hindi pa daw nila hawak ng buo, pero website nga ng pldt nakalagay yung FUP na binigay sakin ng smart customer support.

Sana may Firmware ang PS3 to avoid this Bandwidth Capping/Throttling. Sa Bit-Torrent daw kasi may ilang methods daw to fool ISPs kahit temporary like dadaan sa isang invisible encrypted tunnel network and usage of random ports.

Did any gamers around the world of video games complained this sa Sony or Microsoft & other Gaming companies? Gamers around the world should join forces and air this issue seriously.

If i'm an officer of a gaming company, mas gugustuhin ko na ma-cater ko lahat ng online gamers from let's say plan 999 to the highest broadband plan user. Bandwidth Limiting will destroy online gaming experience. I'll chose to cater all types of ISP subscribers as much as possible mas sure ang profit doon.

Here's my PS3 Online experience upon being affected by this FUP by SmartBRO
Battlefield 3 Premium Edition
- Though I can play multiplayer, it takes sometime to connect to the server. Title screen shows either EA is doing maintenance or Failed to Connecting to Network. It will took me some 5 tries to connect sa Multiplayer.
I noticed when I joined a certain map, it's a bit slower to load while entering a map. siguro 5 to 7 secs ang difference compared noong di pa affected ng FUP/Bandwidth Limit/Throttling scheme. Affected din ang time when refreshing the list of servers/maps in the multiplayer.

So far wala pang lag within the game pero i'm gonna anticipate this scenarios soon. Pero we can't deny affected ang online gaming experience natin.

My rating in speedtest.net is as same as Jesper's rating
20 KB/s for DL and UL.

Isa itong marketing scheme, pipilitin nilang mag upgrade ang mga plan 999 users to a higher plan. And after sometime may FUP na rin yung mga 1999 plan. Sige kakaganyan nila yang mga ISPs na yan mawawalan ng customer yung iba lilipat ng ISPs

At yung iba eh hahanap ng "underground unlimited internet service" like yung mga nabalitang re-enabled na Globe Wi-Max na super unlimited ang internet na na-raid ng NTC at PNP. So far sa napanood ko sa balita mga dating employee ng Globe ang nasabat pero yung mga naging customers nila hindi nahuli. Sabi sa news, mga 4k to 5k ang bayad dito pero sure yun super unlimited na internet halos walang limit daw nung iniinterview yung nahuling suspect.

I'm not promoting this re-enable Globe Wi-Max stuff. I'm just telling facts from this reality. Reality of what will happen if this f*ck*n FUP kept their customers feeling being hostage victim.

Sa mga billions na kita galing sa tubong lugaw business ng mga ISPs? imbes na limitahan nila mga dami at bilis ng mga dumadaan sa network, bakit di nila magawang palaparin ang dadaanana para maaccomodate nila lahat ng klase ng network users?

Bakit customer ang kelangan makibagay sa provider eh di ba dapat ang provider ang nakikibagay sa customer kasi ang dumadami eh bilang ng customer at hindi naman ISPs? Customer nagbibigay kita sa ISPs hindi ang ISPs nagbibigay kita sa client. UNLIMITED Internet nga promo pero LIMITED naman ang speed ng connection mo.

There was, VPN, it was designed to secure your IP by hiding it under different network. I can't discuss the other process since its illegal.

Sana nga , kung tutuusin, gusto rin nila (sony,etc) na kumita sila pero since di naman nila kaya hawakan lahat especially other countries lalo na kung mas magiging lamang ang batas na maproprotektahan ang local companies, gagastos lang sila sa wala.

One thing is for sure, mas nag sasacrifice ang mga subscribers kesa sa mga nagnanakaw kung ang plano nila eh maging fair experience ang usage ng net nila. Kung hindi ibang ISP eh mas marami lilipat sa illegal.

aside from digital store downloads, the patches from games especially big ones (like multiple patch or the in-game patches in mmo)

^inaalala ko yung pag PS3 Proxy Server na.. Kahit naka Download Manager ka eh syempre imbes na sandali lang hihintayin mo eh baka abutin ng 1 week bago mo matapos ma-DL yung malakaking patches or expansion packs ng isang game.

lilipat mo ng AP, ganun rin yan. 3 AP nadedetect ng SM ko, nilipat-lipat ko, di parin natatanggal FUP, I think sa SM/antenna/canopy ata yun, remote controlled kasi yung akin though pwede ako mag lipat ng AP pero sa QoS walang effect.
isang work around na redirect/relog to portal, ayaw narin gumana.

okay lang may FUP pero sana 100GB/month naman sana yung cap, sa ibang bansa 250GB ang cap ng FUP nila, implemented talaga ang FUP sa mga wireless internet, pero sabi nung mga tao sa ibang forums wala daw FUP sa ga broadband stick.

anyway, matagal naman ng iisa lang talaga may ari ng Smart at PLDT. nag rebrand sila at nilipat nila yung Smart Canopy under ng PLDT MyHome brand at feeling ko gusto kasi nilang mag DSL lahat ng tao. as if naman, nung nagpakabit kami more than 5 or 6 years ago sinasabi nila wala pang DSL sa lugar namin.

tapos ngayon sa mga naapektuhan ng FUP na to, sinasabi nila lipat na lang sa DSL 1995 na 3mbps, ang di nila sinasabi di pa kasama yung bayad sa telephone na at 600-700 a month. and the fact na malaki ang chance na wala pa silang linya ng DSL sa maraming lugar, or sa mga nagpapakabit ng DSL dati narinig niyo na siguro to "walang ports". (wala na kaming PLDT ilang taon na rin since hindi naman na nagagamit, hmm...)

and the fact na di nila sinabihan yung mga customers nila dati pa sa gagawin nila medyo unfair talaga. hays monopolya nga naman sa bansa natin. nagtitiis na nga ko ng congested connection tuwing araw tanggap ko na yun at sa madaling araw na lang ako nag lalaro or net kadalasan pero dahil sa FUP na to medyo away na talaga.

Damn you Smartbro, ang ganda ng timing grabe. Kung kelan e3 dun pa tumalab tong fup na to. Di tuloy ako makapanood ng mga video sa e3 ng hindi nahahigh-blood sa sobrang bagal ng connection. Di ko na rin ma-stalk ng maayos yung picture ng crush ko dahil sa bwisit na fup na to. Dapat gawing "unfair usage policy" ang pangalan neto eh.

Meron na bang nag punta ng PLDT/SmartBRO at nag inquire tungkol dito? palagi ako tinatamaan ng ganto eh. Malakas kasi ako mag download ng kung anek anek na anime at games. Plano ko dumaan pag may time ako para itanong kung bakit ganto. wala kasing kwenta yung support nila pag hindi personal eh.

Pwede ba iupgrade yun to PLDT DSL? yung wired? pag tinamaan ulet ako nito (which I expect) baka mag family meeting ulet kami tungkol sa internet provider namin. Naka lock in pa kasi kami eh. Kaka start lang namin last 3 months ago.
