Connect mo muna yang ZTE modem mo sa PS3 kung NAT 2 wag ka nang bumili ng router,pero kung kailangan mong sabay nakaconnect sa netz yung PS3 and PC yup bili ka na router

Help! I have a problem connecting to the PSN. I was given an Aztech DSL605EW modem router. I can actually surf, connect to my media servers and even use Folding@Home! I just can't sign in to the PSN. Any special configurations? I was able to connect to the PSN with my old PLDT DSL.

@coolblue_a14 ... you can try connecting directly your PS3 to it, wired connection ka muna so there are fewer things to check.
in the admin site config of that router, set the IP address being assigned to the PS3 on the DMZ. am not sure how that can be done since i'm not familiar with that modem/router Globe provided you. but that is the principle, making the PS3 connect directly via DMZ.

TEXT SPEAK VIOLATION thing kasi, malayo sa router talaga TEXT SPEAK VIOLATION PS3. Kaya wireless connection ko. TEXT SPEAK VIOLATION other thing na ginawa ko is kinabit ko TEXT SPEAK VIOLATION router na binigay nila sa linksys router ko. hina kasi ng signal ng wireless router na provided nila. so the dmz concept would still work that way ba?
Can we call globe and demand to change modems feeling ko talaga modem lang problema ko kaya ako nat3 (tried everything) since you guys use ph9300 and can get nat2,for me the ph9200 sucks + laging nadidisconnect internetz connection ko but not for more than 10 seconds

I have this same modem kaso Digitel yung ISP ko. I already did all of the guides on the official PS forums pero NAT3 pa din. Tried port forwarding, still got NAT3, tried DMZ (disabled the port forwarding), still DMZ. I'm beginning to think na sadya na ng ISP to. Sigh...

I'm using Prolink h5200 and Linksys wrt54g router. Naka bridge lang yung modem then yung router ko naka pPoe and naka enable as DHCP server .. so far so good. NAT 2 naman sya
Naka DMZ yung PS3 ko and I know my ports are being forwarded since check ko port forwarding ng PC via test ng uTorrent and I'm all green.

Okay naman. Problema lang ay kung ang kalaro mo ay PLDT/Smart Bro user and the game uses P2P only, then you will lag and vice versa. Pero sa downloads, wala naman akong problema. But it's best to ask around your neighborhood for feedback kasi depende din yan sa location eh. Anyway, Marikina disctrict 1 ako at maayos na maayos.

Tulad nga ng sabi ko, depende talaga sa location. Kung malayo ka sa CO, malamang hindi mo makukuha ang maximum bandwidth na nakalaan sa iyo.
I have a 2 Mbps connection with Globelines and this is my speed with San Francisco, USA (mataas din ang latency)
NAT type 2 ako dahil modem-router na din ang H9300G. I rarely get disconnected... as in sobrang dalang. Madalas ako pa talaga ang nagdi-disconnect para lang mapahinga ang modem ko.
hindi ako makaonline gaming sa connection na to eh ang bulok. pano kayo nakakaconnect? every 20mins napuputol nakakinis and it is the only connection we have sa area na to.
