The Darkness is clearly the better than the The Transformers. Sure, different genres but The Darkness is just really a good game while The Transformers is uh, a cheap movie to game cash-in.

I wouldn't be so hasty to recommend the upcoming Gundam game either. I played the demo that game is absolutely broken.
