Epic Sues Apple And Google After Fortnite Removed From App Store

Do you also play with non-PlayStation devices? Do you enjoy playing as a plumber saving a princess? Or some bald marines? Or maybe you want to play using the touchscreen?

Free Fortnite: Epic Sues Apple And Google After Fortnite Removed From App Store

https://www.gamespot.com/articles/free- ... 0-6480913/
Epic Games today introduced direct payments in Fortnite's mobile versions, circumventing the App Store cuts taken by Apple and Google. In response, Apple has removed Fortnite from the iOS App Store, and that in turn has led to Epic filing a lawsuit against Apple. Google followed Apple's lead later in the day, blocking access to Fortnite from the Google Play Store as well.
Update 7: Epic is not stopping at Apple--they've now filed a suit against Google, too. The 63-page document opens with a statement about Google's 1998 motto, "Don't Be Evil," alleging that the company has "relegated its motto to nearly an afterthought, and is using its size to do evil upon competitors, innovators, customers, and users in a slew of markets it has grown to monopolize."
Epic has released a statement that primarily recaps today's events. It calls specific attention to one point of its lawsuit against Apple, which notes, "Apple's removal of Fortnite is yet another example of Apple flexing its enormous power in order to impose unreasonable restraints and unlawfully maintain its 100% monopoly over the iOS In-App Payment Processing Market."
