Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Ronald dela Rosa has decided to reinstate 19 policemen, including Supt. Marvin Marcos, abiding by President Duterte’s wish.

In a chance interview after Wednesday’s Bureau of Jail Management and Penology anniversary celebration in Camp Aguinaldo, Dela Rosa told reporters, “Sayang. Walang ginagawa, sumusuweldo (It’s a waste. They’re doing nothing and they’re being paid for it).”

Dela Rosa was referring to Marcos and 18 other policemen including: Supt. Santi Noel Matira; Chief Insp. Leo Larraga; Senior Insp. Fritz Blanco; Senior Insp. Deogracias Diaz; Insp. Lucredito Candilosas; SPO4 Melvin Cayubit; PO3 Johnny Ibañez; SPO4 Juanito Duarte; PO1 Lloyd Ortigueza; PO1 Bhernard Orpilla; SPO2 Benjamin Dacallos; PO3 Norman Abellanosa; PO1 Jerlans Cabiyaan; PO1 Clixto Canillas Jr; SPO1 Mark Christian Cadilo; PO2 John Ruel Doculan; SPO2 Antonio Docil; and PO2 Jaime Dacsal.

Duterte makes fresh rape joke

President Rodrigo Duterte made a new joke about rape on Friday night, saying he would congratulate a rapist who could carry out the crime even knowing he would die.

Duterte made the joke in a speech to Filipino diplomats in Davao City as he defended his bloody war on crime which has left thousands dead since he took office last year.

"What I don't like are kids (being raped.) You can mess with, maybe Miss Universe. Maybe I will even congratulate you for having the balls to rape somebody when you know you are going to die," he said, implying the rapist would be lynched.

Speaking before soldiers in Iligan City last May, Duterte said he would be willing to go to jail for soldiers if they committed rape.

Presidential spokesperson Ernesto Abella had clarified that Duterte, speaking with heightened bravado, was trying to highlight his full support to the military.

Duterte also went under fire during the presidential campaign period in April for making a rape joke as he recalled the Davao prison riot in 1989 where Australian Jacqueline Hamill was rape and killed.

During his speech in Davao City, the president also boasted to the diplomats that he faked tuberculosis to escape mandatory military training in college.

But he also reiterated his vow to continue his war on drugs despite accusations that thousands of suspects had been killed by police and vigilantes since he took office.

"Human rights? That is bulldog to me," he said, recalling how he called then-US president Barack Obama "a son of a whore" after Washington criticised the wave of killings.

Police say at least 3,200 people were slain in their anti-drug operations but rights groups charge that thousands more have been killed by vigilante groups. —Agence France-Presse

Ang nakakainis kasi sa nakaraan election ay nauso ang mga bayaran trolls na gumawa ng mga fake news, fake propaganda para mapagtakpan ang baho ng kandidato nila at masiraan yun (medyo) matitinong kandidato. At dahil sa maraming mang-mang o hindi nag-practice ng due diligence ay ayun, nauto naman.

^ Ang huling balita ko ay pinapa-hinto na sila ng Department of Transportation and LTFRB dahil mas madami daw ang colorrum drivers nila.

and until the decision is final pwede pa naman daw bumiyahe ang mga yun.

Hindi naman sa pang aano pero pag natuluyan ang mga uber/grab drivers, mapipilitan maging underground na colorum yung mga yun. Mas mahihirapan lang din ang gobyerno na i-regulate sila.

^ Pwede rin yun. Pero yun iba, malamang mahahatak ng banks ang mga sasakyan nila kasi hindi pa tapos bayaran yun pinang-uber at grab nila. Kawawa naman sila. Marangal na trabaho naman yun pero sana lang sumusunod sila sa batas, yun tamang pagkuha ng prangkisa para maging legal ang byahe nila. Para din makuha ng gobyerno yun tamang tax sa kanila.

Pero ang claim naman ng Uber at Grab ay ang bagal ng proceso ng LTFRB sa pag-issue ng prankisa sa kanila.
