Try ko ulit this weekend.
Dun naman sa crack on power, naalala ko dati may ganyang sakit yung NDS lite first gen. May crack sa case malapit sa hinges. Ang dahilan daw eh over tighten screws.

Same here. Bought Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on a whim. It'll be my first MK game ever. And I totally suck at racing games. I hope I won't regret buying this

Practice mo lang ang pag drift. Masaya yan promise! Kapag nasa 150cc o mirror ka na, wag mo lang babalibag switch mo
By the way, naka connect na ulit yung switch ko sa internet. Ginamitan ko ng open DNS, nag connect na ulit. phew! Kala ko bibili na ako ng LAN adaptor.

Got to try out my cousin's switch for a few hours over the weekend (handheld mode lang), here are my quick thoughts:
- Hardware is surprisingly solid, feels good in the hand and has a great weight to it. Feels good, and surprisingly more premium than I would have thought.
- Playing in handheld mode takes some getting used to, because I've never played with controllers that far apart before. I wasn't comfortable at first, but got used to it better as I played more.
- Screen is really good, great viewing angles, gets bright enough to play outdoors.
- I can't imaging playing this with one joycon only for local multiplayer sessions. The joycons are nice if you use them as one controller, but if you want to split them in two for a multiplayer session, it just doesn't feel right. It's too small, and it feels awkward to use.
- I played Zelda for a fair amount of time, and the graphics and art style are really good.
- The performance is smooth I'd say maybe 95 percent of the time, with the odd frame rate dip every now and then.
Overall, I'd say I'm more impressed than I thought I would be with the Switch, but I don't think it's worth 20,000 pesos right now. I'll wait for the library to build up and see how third parties will support the thing (if the NBA 2k18 version that will be launched with the switch is similar enough to the PS4 version - I'm sold). Good thing that there's going to be a good amount of software that will be launched in the coming months (right now Zelda, MK8, Splatoon 2, and Mario Odyssey gusto ko - but will wait it out some more).
I'll probably wait until the end of the year, and decide whether I'll be buying the Scorpio or the Switch. Another big factor that will improve the likelihood of my purchase is their plans on virtual console. If that turns out to be what I'm hoping for, then it might expedite my purchase.

Ito din inisip ko eh, always better to wait of course. I think very OP siya sa Philippines compared to other regions, and if kaya makahintay ng mark down, I'd do it (especially dahil ang mahal ng accessories - like the pro controller 4,000 ata dito).parokyano wrote: ↑Tue May 02, 2017 10:37 am ako hantayin ko muna yung 2nd gen or redesign since lahat daw ng switch unit ngayon magkaka crack yung sa bandang power button kapag napapatagal yung laro and nagbubuild up na yung hardware temperature.. sooner or later because of the design flaw.. oc pa naman ako sa aestethics. .
Okay na din mag hintay 1 or 2 years para siguradong wala ng issues and ma build up na rin yung library and maayos nila yung online functionality (which is a big joke right now).
