Eto lang sa Australia ha...Delikado kapag bumabaha sa kanila...Not just because of the flood waters, but also of the wildlife it brings along on public places...

Like these...

Racist behavior of the Japanese people

WARNING: Please don't read ahead if you're not aware of the racist acts, and you don't want to ruin your trip to Japan.

Just got back from SG and there were a number of Japanese tourists in the hotel I stayed at. It was basically a coughing fest during breakfast, especially when there were more Japanese and 1-3 groups of Caucasians. They apparently do this as a signal saying that there's a non-Japanese person in that area.

I saw this happen several times at the anime convention too. One Japanese guy just coughed directly (without covering his mouth of course) at the usher when the usher was walking by. That JP dude smelled like fermented apple though. Another memorable one was when two JP guys were going to their seats before the concert and there was a group of SG people talking loudly. One of the JP guys just did a fake cough so loud in that direction.

One guest was even yawning in the direction of the hotel staff which supposedly means 'You, non-Japanese person, smell'. I don't know if I should be glad or not that I wasn't on the receiving end of these during breakfast. I think that fact led to 1 Chinese staff to cover his nose when I pass by him. The Japanese didn't even do that to me, and they're known to be quite sensitive to smell.

Some Japanese did this to me though. First was the guy who smelled like fermented apple, yawned at me while covering his mouth. Well, at least he covered his mouth. Same thing happened at the lift in the hotel, when I got back from the concert and my hair was still a bit wet with sweat. He did look at my clothes and stuff first before doing that. I'm not sure if he was checking if I've got JP blood or not :bigmouth: . Let's just say I had some Japanese 'accessory' with me during that time.

I might say this, but I still like the culture and people. Well, mainly the ladies.
