I hate and love JJ Abrams, I just hope he doesn't leave too many questions unanswered. I still haven't seen the last season of Lost.

I like the prequels.. specially the rapport between Qui-Gon and Obi Wan. I really don't know why there's so much negative reviews about that trilogy.

1 and 2 was bad. Bad acting, boring plot. Take out the great lightsaber fights, wala ka nang maalala talaga.


Kung titiginan mo yung grand scheme, malalaman mo at maiintindihan mo na lahat kahit Revenge of the Sith lang panoorin mo. Those two films were pointless.

huh? there's the under water chase scene.. the pod race.. the battle between the gungans and the droid army.. anakin blowing up the trade federation's control ship.. ang nawala lang naman sa prequel ay big revelation na nangyari sa empire strikea back since episod 1 pa lang halatang si palpatine din si darth sidious..

It's a prequel, I think they weren't going for any big reveal. The intention was to add more to the story.. That itself is not pointless.

Perhaps a little lacking on the acting, I'll give you that, but the prequel did something to fix the main story; They made it more science fiction.

The main story made the Force akin to Magic, something acceptable in the 70s and 80s way of making movie plots but it doesn't sit well with the times. The prequel explain the Force through microscopic organism called Midi-chlorians. I think that's great as it made it more of an epic sci-fi instead of an epic fantasy revisioned as a sci-fi.

I think the hate comes from the fact that it's being compared to the main story and characters more than it needed to be, there's little of the main characters being a prequel and all, it didn't strike the Nostalgia feeling at all.

I think the last Fantastic 4 movie was great, if you disregard the comics and previous iterations. I viewed it like was the first time ever that F4 came to being. Of course, it sucks eggs big time since it completely deviated from any of the F4 origin story.

I watch the prequels like that and it was fun. The Darth Maul Lightsaber fight was awesome, the Darth Vader and Luke fight, not so. The Midi-chlorians, cool, Yoda's explanation that sounds like mumbo jumbo: he was old and near death, I'm sure he just skipped a ton of formalities on Luke's training.

Of course, Jar Jar was terrible.. the worst ever.

The problem, I think, with the prequels is bad direction. Story could have been good. Acting could have been good. But choosing to direct all three prequels was a bad move on Lucas' part.

But Jar Jar is still the worst ever! LOLZ!

...ok naman sa akin si jarjar, i really like ep 1 kesa sa 2 and 3. Ewan ko, ok naman katangahan nya hehehe. Mas maraming wow factor for me ang ep 1 kesa ep 7. Pero parehong maganda sya.
