What a great game! Clutch si pogoy and si belo of course. Galing ni Wong and I don't even blame him for that last shot. He went up strong and he thought he had an advantage, he didn't make it but that's how it goes sometimes.
Head up to von pessumal and kiefer ravena! They're going to go pro and I wish them well.

Si ravena for sure gagaling pa yan lalo sa pba, and he's part of the gilas cadet team, they sky is the limit for him. For pessumal i hope he can tranlsate into the mold of a larry fonacier in the pros with his 3 point shooting and defense. Madami din kasing ateneo graduates who have not had stellat playing careerrs sa pba or naging so so lang, but i think pessumal kaya niya with his shooting. To recent memory, i can only count rico v, larry, LA, intal and rabeh before his sabbatical last year as players who have turned out great in the pros.
I also tip my hat to bo perasol. He may not have been the right person for the job since it was difficult to step into norman black's shoes, but he did what he could in three years with keifer and the rest of the players from black's program. Never an easy job too when you have alumni calling for your ouster game in and game out. Problema kasi sa camp ng ateneo yung mga alumni they always have something to complain about at hindi na lang nila hinahayaan yung coach na i-handle yung team

UAAP will be revisiting rules regarding Hacking FT Brick shooters. In this case, "Hack-a-Sherrif".
Why not apply the technical fouls on teams insisting on hacking?
Or the good part of the so-called dirty tactic is a player should work on improving FTs.
After all it's one of the basketball basics.

Lolz, parang na ring sinabi sa mga bata na ok lang maging banong free throw shooter becaue it cant be used against you. Lols... Pangit naman talaga pero you have to make them pay the price for being poor free throw shooter.. Simple lang solution dyan, hit them free throws.

IMHO talaga it's not healthy for basketball na walang restriction sa hack a player..

Strategy tawag dun. Game on the line, sabihin natin game 3 na ng uaap finals.
Si jordan at larry bird nga opposed sa pag tanggal ng fouling away from the ball kasi alam nila it sends the wrong message to kids that its okay to be a poor ft shooter in today's basketball.

Coach Altamirano said the rule is ugly pero wala silang choice, desperate measures lang talaga.
