Star Ocean isn’t the only series Square Enix is bringing back. Siliconera has learned from a source at Square Enix that a new Front Mission game is in development.

The game is being developed by Square Enix Japan along with former Armored Core producer Toshifumi Nabeshima. Nabeshima moved from FromSoftware where he created Chromehounds for Sega and Armored Core V to Square Enix.

While the Front Mission series started off as a sci-fi strategy RPG series, the most recent game, Front Mission Evolved, was an Armored Core-like mecha battling game developed by Double Helix.

Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae 2. 0 Update Adds New Quest And More

- Added cooperation attacks that come from ally suggestions.

- Guarding just before being hit by an enemy attack will no longer consume MP.

- Evasive maneuver has been changed into a dodge roll, no longer consumes MP, and can be shifted into from various actions.

- Pressing the left stick during a consecutive attack will change the attack movement.

- You can now charge great sword attacks by holding down the button.

- The shift (warp) command has been changed into a long Circle button hold. If you hold Circle for a short period, you’ll perform a mid-range shift.

- The areas you can warp to have been greatly increased.

- Attack power, MP consumption, and more have been adjusted.

- Camera turning speed and acceleration has been improved. The lock-on tracking has been improved, and target-switching has been simplified.

- Camera can now be moved down during combat.

- Party AI has been improved.

- “Individual action quests” that are suggested by party members has been added.

- The Catoblepas monster by the lake can now be fought.

- Improved camera controls while moving.

- Fixed various other issues.

I won't be surprised if half of them are mobile. That being said, Star Ocean 5 and Hitman are good bets. As for Frog's Theme, Theathrythm: Chrono Trigger?

I've given up on anything FFVII. I think SE has milked that one waaay too much that releasing it to the wild will do them no good anymore. If it does happen, fans would be more "About d**n time!!" rather than "OMG!We love you SE sooo much! Thank you!"

^ Well, Facebook isn't exactly the place to go for insight and discourse. And the gaming community as a whole isn't exactly likable. Personally, Square Enix gets a pass from me. They're great publishers and overall a decent company.
