Hehe..yan ang isa sa draws ng game na ito, yung classic difficulty.
Marami nga pag may namatay sa isang level, uulitin nila para lang buo yung party nila by the end of the game...tingin ko dapat talaga ganito parang yung difficulty of games of old!

Anyway, di pa ko nakakabili...sayang nga kasi mamiss out ko na yung mga free DLCs. Sana lang maisama sila sa isang bundle pag lumabas na yung mga paid.

Gusto mo kasi mabuhay lahat ng characters hehe. May isa na nga ako na hindi na-recruit eh pinatay ko pa. Ang layo ko na din. Sa 2nd playthrough lunatic na hehe. Chrom-MU the best combination.

i'm stuck on chapter 11 lunatic/classic difficulty for 3 days now, about 25 hours trying same battle. it seems the best way to beat each chapter is use 3 characters only, 2 as a partner, and isang bait na tumatakbo palayo lang. tempted to restart so i can focus leveling on only 3 chars.

still confused on how their stat growth works, sobrang random minsan, sometimes +1 stat lang, sometimes may +1 sa lahat.

trying hard/classic for now, para alam ko mga advancement and which characters and prioritize ko i level up. big difference to lunatic, madalang na madalang 1 hit KO kahit walang support.

kakasawa din i grind yung dlc. pero ok sila, will probably get all.
i got 3 weeks to spare before starcraft 2: heart of the swarm

chapter 23 na ko sa lunatic/classic! it gets easy sa midgame. pinakamabirap lang talaga yung mga unang chapters.

Sa mga naglalaro talaga ng series na ito, how does this one compare to the one on the DS? Not in terms of graphics pero pagdating sa story, characters, gameplay? Iniisip ko kasi na yun muna laruin habang naghihintay ng copy nito.

I played and grinded all past FE games na na release outside japan - FE (gba), sacred stones (gba), path of radiance (gc), shadow dragon (ds) and radiant dawn (wii)

lahat ng fire emblem games, same lahat gameplay, may dumadagdag lang na feature, like dito sa awakening, pwede na 2 units in 1 tile (Join In)(1 as support), pwede dati pero yung 2nd char sa tile, as standby lang, na compare sa ibang FE, to support, through adjacent tiles lang. also dati yung support, stat booster lang, ngayon pwede na rin silang mag attack or defend "dual system"
also pwede na mag change class, like FFT, to learn the other skills (each class have 2 skills, you can equip 5) and maxed out.

think of awakening as greatest hits ng past FE games, all the good elements, pinagsama-sama. each FE is standalone.

story wise, maikli lang sila, about 5-10 hours, usually about 2 kingdoms battling each other. then twist later on.

dito sa awakening, they added the option to play "Casual", na pag namatay, resurrect uli yung char after the battle, on past FE games, dead char = permanent, kinda like game over na rin yun, so reload save.
pwede rin laruin ng "Classic" (permadeath) like past games.

3 difficulty setting na rin (4th one, need to unlock). normal (bale easy mode, just attack, no strategy needed), hard (normal difficulty ng FE), and lunatic (mode na gusto mong ibato 3ds mo ), lunatic+ - unlock after beating lunatic, same difficulty, pero may added skills mga kalaban.

first FE game na may dlc (added maps to recruit heroes from past games, easy gold, easy exp)
spotpass feature = bale parang DLC na rin, free, bonus teams (leader nila is from a past FE game) na pede labanan, na pede mo rin i recruit yung leader, or just shop items from them.
streetpass feature, pede ka gawa line up as "streetpass team" then other players you meet through streetpass, pede nila labanan yung team mo or recruit yung main mo, or just buy items.
another is double duel feature, need 2 3ds, bale each player sends 3 char each, team-up yung 2 players, vs AI, arena mode.


mga FE games, if story lang, not worth it. para silang pokemon games, you have to collect them all, get the best pokemons for your team, get the best movesets, etc. OCD stuff

sa awakening, max all stats, through class changing since stats are cumulative, every class change to a base class, back to level 1 ka, pero stats, may konting bawas. also streetpass battles, parang pokemon, build the best team, battle other players.

FE games are hate/love games, you either love the grind of building the best chars, or hate the game for dying alot and reload (unless nasa normal difficulty ka), AI always target the one they can kill in 1 turn or nearest if wala.

yung sa DS, bale remake yun ng very first FE, hindi pa gaano complicated.

AH ok, thanks! Hehe..dahil diyan, decided na ako to get a copy of the DS one muna while waiting for a good deal on FEA. Gusto ko din muna kasi medyo may alam na ako sa awakening pag start ko para talagang ma experience ko siya ng maayos.

Wow gotm pala kaya di ko mahanap.Any way, binili ko yung awakening and i really enjoyed it. Unexpected sakin kasi parang napilitan lang ako bilhin siya sa datablitz. Eto kasi yung story, nagtanong lang ako sa shopkeeper kung meron silang stock kasi wala akong nakita sa shelf, sabi niya meron at kumuha siya ng ladder at kinuha niya sa taas, muntikan pa siya mahulog and talagang mukhang delikado yung nangyare, after nun dinala na niya sa counter para resibuhan ako at nahiya naman akong magsabi na nagtanong lang ako after ko ma witness na muntik na siya madisgrasya, ang kawawang babae, kaya binili ko na rin. Nagsisi ako sa sasakyan pauwi pero nawala yung sisi after hours of gaming when i got home. Sobrang napuyat ako 5am na ata ako nakatulog and iilang oras lan naitulog ko. Any way, sinabi ko before dito sa forum na hindi ko siya bibilin na brand new dahil mukhang di worthy, and look how it turned out... I was dead wrong. Was a fun game, kakatapos ko lang kahapon at 33 hours ang gametime, hindi pa kasama yung oras na nawala after ko magreset dahil may namatay... Haha. Strongest character ko in the end? Unexpected din na si donnel , the vilager kid. Grabe kasi yung aptitude skill nya magbigay ng stat during level up. Hero class ginawa ko sa kanya. Sayang lang wala siyang Grand knight or paladin class.

natapos ko na lunatic+/classic. not too hard if you survive lunatic/classic, almost same lang. dlc na lang hinihintay ko weekly and trying to max all chars.
