Guys question lang. yung ps3 ko Modern Warfare 1 & 2 lang binabasa. Maybe old games lang. When I tried putting in Final Fantasy XIII it doesnt pop up in the xmb. and after 10 seconds may clicking sound na parang ine eject yung disc pero hindi naman. BDL failure na ba to?

more than 24 hours nag iwan ako ng download "update sa games tska mga add ons" and then naglaro ng RB2 til the morning and so far walang naging problem sa ps3 slim ko haha kahit mainit na LOL siguro ang pinaka symptoms nito eh yung pag play ng mga madudumi or madaming gasgas na DVDs.... tska yung habang nagloload tapos papatayin yun ang nakakasira ng lens... :facepalm:

Hi guys, ako din tinamaan ng problema na ito. My brother called me out of the blue saying na our PS3 has the dreaded PS3 BDL failure. 80GB model, 2nd generation.

I'm thinking na ipa-repair siya sa CYNET kaso nasa probinsya kasi PS3 ko, and commute could be a problem since we can't use our car at the moment. O kaya I'll just buy a new slim model, since I want a new one.

Anyways, hindi ko pa alam ang extent ng damage ng lense since nasa Manila pa ako. I'll go back sa probinsya namin later to see the problem.

I left my ps3 slim on for about 13 hours last night. Forgot to turn it off. Did I just drastically shorten its lifespan?

me nga three times dati.. but after 2 years, buhay parin unit ko.. i guess mini electric fan is the key.. itapat mo sa harap lagi ni ps3 pag naglalaro.. wag mo papatayin ang fan even after i-off mo.. parang turbo engine lang yan, di pinapatay agad at pinapalamig

from my 2 BDL, ganyan nangyari. makakabasa pa ng DVD and PS2 games pero BD disc nde na.
It will start with the game hanging, leaving you no option but to power off the PS3.
Solution is to have the Lens replaced.
However, on rare occasion, resting the PS3 for hours or days will solve the problem, a friend of mine did.
